Roma House - Watch Repair

Got my Seiko Monster automatic diver to gain less than 3 seconds per day. Outstanding.At it's best (brand new) it was gaining 10 seconds a day, not uncommon for that model and acceptable. Then (some years later) I forgot to screw crown down and got water in it. I'm very attached to the watch and the replacement cost would be well over 1,000.I was not optimistic based on experience with other, more expensive shops. Absolutely thrilled with the job Roma House did. I understand and appreciate the perseverance required on their part to get it right.Thank you.

Great experience! Brought in my Gucci watch for a battery replacement and link addition. The link is no longer available through Gucci as the watch is older, but Roma House was able to find one that fit! Great service, great price. Definitely recommend.

Went in to get my watch band resized and it was done on the spot and very quickly. Watch fits perfect now. The wife even picked out a new wedding band to replace her broken one. The prices are extraordinary and I don't think anyone around can beat them. Super friendly expertise service. Can understand why they have been in the same location for almost 20 years.

I’ve been coming to Roma House for years. They’ve fixed a few of my watches as well as my fathers. Every time we’ve been so happy with the service.The owner is really knowledgeable and honest. I was initially quoted $75 repair for my dads Rado watch and went to drop off the watch. Upon inspection he notified me that it would only be $50 instead. I would have gladly paid the $75 as others were quoting me way more. Really impressed!

Brought my 200$ watch in to have a simple battery swap. The watch has been worn a handful of times and was in pristine condition. When I got it back it has 2 huge scratches on the back where she slipped with her tool. She refused to acknowledge that she had made the scratches and offered no reimbursement for the damages she had caused.If you care about your jewelery do not bring it here. Theres a reason it's located in the whitby mall. It's the only place the cheap poor quality work being supplied here can survive.

Amazing service! Took multiple watches including Rolex Submariner to get an overhaul gave me a really good price and serviced all my watches in 2 days. Would 100% recommend Roma House - Watch Repair to others! Location is very easy to find, and very polite and informative!

Took a watch in on recommendation to this business. Was told it was $10 and would take 20 min or so. When I went back, was told it would be $15 as it required a better" battery. The watch stopped working/intermittently working

Be very careful with this place. I gave the guy a cheap skull ring to fix, then I left it for about 3 weeks to a month. When I went back he denied ever taking my ring. The ring was $5 so I don’t care about that, but it’s just incredible that the guy would deny that he even knows who I am. He never gave me a ticket or receipt, which I’m wondering if he did that on purpose now in order to keep the ring. If the ring were valuable I would be losing my mind. I’m more perplexed than anything as to why he is denying he has the ring. Anyways, get receipts and probably just avoid. If he’s willing to rip off a cheap costume ring then I would trust him with anything of value.

I would give more stars if possible. Was devastated with my watch situation but Maison saved me.Fixed multiple watches for me, but the following two were the most valuable to me.1. Swatch - my wife gave it as a gift on my birthday. The watch suddenly stopped working. Showed it to multiple places, including Swatch themselves. Everyone said the mechanical components in the watch went bad after trying with new batteries. Swatch even offered me a discount on my next purchase. One store went to ask for $100 just to open and look at it. Took it to Maison, he fixed it for $10 with a battery. All these people were installing the wrong one so far. Been 6 months and the watch is working flawlessly.2. Burberry - my mother-in-law gave it as a gift. Battery went dead. Took it to where I bought it from (Watch Station). They said the mechanical components are bad after looking at it for 15 minutes. Have to apparently send it to Texas at my expense just to get an estimate of the cost of repair. Took it to Maison, first question he asked who opened it and touched the coil? So watch station lady who opened it, damaged the coil while replacing the battery. This was an expensive fix around $150 but he fixed it with a warranty for 2 years. Again, been 6 months and zero issues.I now know where to go and rely on for fixing my watches.Thank you Maison, may God bless you.
