Best birding trail at Rondeau provincial Park. Beautiful and unique habitat that provides shelter to some rare species of birds like the endangered Prothonotary Warbler.

Tulip Tree Trail
Beautiful trail with lots of board walks. We didn't follow the markers correctly and it only took 30min to walk instead of the hour.

Tulip tree trail gives vistors of the park a nice way to see the infamous Prothonatary warbler! I have seen many a wildlife on this fantastic trail which gives enough space for acessable travel! Great 1.4km trail which can be a great way to spend an afternoon!

The trail entrance said there is ribbon snake and numerous species of warblers one can encounter. Surprisingly we got to see two individuals of ribbon snakes and several species of birds along with two species of frogs. We also could observe some species of mushrooms and enjoyed several bird calls. It was a lovely trail overall.

Lots to see on a hike that will take about an hour if you stop along the way and take in the views and sounds of nature. The tulip trees are incredible!

My favourite trail in Rondeau! I love all the bridges, and the deer we always see. ❤️

The trails are somewhat connected. The tulip trail is short and easy and when you walk across the wooden bridge, you are entering Harrison Trail, which is friendly for bikes and walking. I walk back and forth from visitor centre and Harrison Trail, it takes around 1 hour. Day pass is 18 dollars for a vehicle since September.
