TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

When I dropped by to this branch to deposit some cheques and revise some GIC contracts with no plan or appointment , the greeter at the door told me the GIC service would require a financial advisor. It was unexpected to me, but by the time I finished depositing the cheques and the Teller was still trying to understand the GIC request, the greeter already brought an advisor to the counter, and shortly everything was done in the advisor's back office. This episode was unusual and made this branch the best TD branch in my decades of banking with TD in a dozen branches across the country.

The leadership at this branch is so poor and narcissistic that it causes one to consider withdrawing all investments and cash from TD and do financial business with another.

Worst customer service ever. The management have no interest in helping you. My father passed away and closing his account at every other institution was professional and quick. This branch is the opposite. Stay away from this bank at all cost.

Staff and the manager were slow processing my request. They also spoke about my issue in the lobby and loudly. I probably spent an hour in the branch waiting for the request to be documented with a commitment to process. It's been a few months and I am still waiting for the request to be resolved.

Such sweet ladies working at this branch! As soon as I reached the front of the line Kritika (I hope I got the spelling right) apologized for the wait and stayed sweetly patient while I fumbled with my pin. She assured me not to feel rushed and asked her advisor a question when she was unsure. I’ve had some bad TD experiences (see other review lol) so this treatment blew me away. There were some pretty rude customers in front of me and both ladies never let it get to them, they stayed polite and patient, and kept the like moving efficiently. Definitely my new go-to branch!

Came in 10 minutes before close to deposit my pay check. The teller proceeds to tell me that I could just deposit it through the app. I questioned him if there was a hold because I have experienced that before. He assured me there would be no hold. Come to my next pay check I tried to deposit through the app and there is a hold on my money.I went to a different TD bank to have them tell me that I was given misinformation. This is a MAJOR inconvenience because this is money. Something that I rely on, and the fact that your employee's are saying incorrect information is honestly embarrassing.I would not trust any of these employees.Terrible and embarrassing service.

I went there to open a second account, they told me I have to call to book an appointment. I called the branch and they didn’t answer my calls !!!

They apparently gave our money order to someone else: My mother ordered Mexican Pesos for an upcoming trip. We waited 30 minutes for them to find the order. They told us that we must have ordered the money to a different branch. We asked the clerk to check the transaction history or at least try to help find what branch and they said they couldn’t help us. When we went back home to call TD I found a confirmation email saying “Great News! Your foreign currency order is ready. Your order for MXN has arrived at TD Canada Trust branch 8068 located at 1632 14th AVE NE NO 1774, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2N 1M7.” We also confirmed that it was at the Nose Hill location by phoning the general TD number. No only is the branch disorganized and unhelpful. They gaslit my mother by repeatedly telling her that they didn’t have it. Here is the best part, when we went back with the email confirmation, that is when Rinkal told us that they had given the money to someone else. They clearly didn’t ask whoever they gave it to for ID or didn’t actually check their ID. They also showed us the signature for the money order and it was not even close to the one on my mother’s ID. Keep in mind that the money for this money order has been withdrawn from my mothers account already. They essentially let some random stranger take money from my mothers account. This is super insecure, and scary that the bank can just let this happen.

The Northhill Mall branch has the worst customer service I've ever had to experience. They make is seem like you have to speak a certain language in order for them to want to help you. I've been misguided, ignored and talked over by multiple representatives of this branch which makes me regret being a supporter and client of TD Canada Trust for these last 20 years. Absolutely unexpected and unacceptable service from the people that work at this branch.

I have always had excellent service at this branch. When my purse was stolen, branch staff provided wonderful personal assistance to help me deal with issues related to my stolen credit card. The branch hours and location make it very easily accessible. Also, received great service and assistance when transferring funds for my son's mortgage and for overseas transfers to my nephew.
