It was my first time getting acrylics done. I was super impressed by the staff. They were extremely pleasant and patient. They really cared about giving customers a positive experience!! I had originally booked my appt with Chanel but when I arrived I found out she no longer works there so I got Dave. He was awesome. Very friendly and patient. I will definitely be coming back again. Will try a pedicure next time!!

I see Dave for my nails and I can’t say enough wonderful things about his service. He’s professional, gentle with nail care and will always ensure you are 100% happy before you leave his chair. I love Ombré nails and my nails are always perfect and I highly recommend him!

It was my first time going to Vinpearl nails. Vicky did a great job and I am very happy with how my nails turned out. The staff were friendly and prices are reasonable.

I had a great experience with Oscar, he is an amazing nail technician. He is a great perfectionist that pays attention to every detail. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional. 10/10 would recommend!

APRIL 2023 UPDATE:Our last 3 visits to Vinpearl have unfortunately been pretty awful and we won't be going back. I have had 2 gel polish changes in March and April 2023, and 1 pedicure mid-March. Both times I had my hands done, my cuticles were left bleeding. It's been 3 days and my fingers are still raw and bleeding (see pics). My pedicure was also not great - my heels are very rough and most toenails were cut crooked. Further, they used the electric buffer/file and grinded my big toenails despite me asking them not to and explaining I have thin nails. I'm now dealing with broken and sore big toenails because they were filed so thin.Finally - I understand inflation and will happily pay more these days; however, I've noticed surprise charges the last 3 visits. My most recent polish change, I asked for 3 colours (which I always do) but was charged an extra $5 per hand and was also charged $10 for removing gel polish - which has always been part of a gel polish change" at Vinpearl and every other nail shop I've been to. They only told me about the additional charges when I paid - instead of $27 I was charged $47 just for a gel polish change!We won't be going back to Vinpearl. I hesitated to leave this review

Love Vinpearl so so much! I’ve been coming here consistently for over 6 months and my nails always come out beautiful! Nail techs are super nice and create a welcoming environment. (here’s just a couple of my favourite sets)

I have always had a good experience here. One of, if not the best, nail salons in Burnaby. I love how unpretentious it is compared to some other nail places- the staff is so friendly and down-to-earth. It’s a clean establishment with fair prices. Highly recommend!

I have Lisa did my pedicure and manicure all the time. Professional and good attitude. Clean environment. But make appointment... They are extremely busy. Very successful business!!

My sister and I went to get our nails done for the first time at Vinpearl Nails and Spa after reading great reviews. When we first arrived, we were greeted kindly and seated promptly. I had booked to get a new set of acrylics and my sister booked to get a shellac manicure. While our nails were being done, some steps of the nail process seemed a little rushed and or missed. For example, the soaking of nails for the shellac time seemed a little short and some prep, such as pushing back cuticles for acrylic nails were missed. As a result, there are some air bubbles and crooked manicure lines and gaps between cuticle and acrylic nail along with rushed polishing. Overall, the experience was quick and well done; however, it would have been more appreciated if some extra time was taken to ensure the nails were done the best.

I loved the nails I got and the attention of the staff, they’re all very kind friendly, plus it was super easy to book my appointment online. Dave did a wonderful job with my nails, he was super patient and made sure I liked them!
