cool store, poor service!!well, the store was emptyI entered the store with the intention of buying several shirts as a gift for friends and also items for me, and no one told me that there was a waiting line outside the store. I was choosing shirts and an employee told me absolutely rudely that I should buy or leave because there were people waiting.no need to be rude, if someone had warned me at the entrance that there was a limited time to be in the store, I would have gone at another time!!!!!!

It's a fun store, kind of expensive but we love their selection of nerdy tees so we usually do what ever t-shirt deal is happening. Great for a fun joke gift too

My friends keep taking me here whenever we go to the mall, staff is always nice and I’ve bought a hat and a wallet here and they were nice. I wonder how it feels being staff knowing like probably 90% of the people coming in our just there to quickly go to the back and laugh then leave without getting anything

Good store always went there as a teenager, yet to there employees they’re terrible. Worked there for a seasonal job about a year ago. While I was there my best friends mother just died so I didn’t have much free time for availability, unless planned weeks prior. They decided to humiliate me in our work group chat for not picking up hours, on there time, ( i.e. the day before even though I was busy with life.) as well as made me believe I would keep the job, just to take me off the schedule at the last minute. On top of that refused to give me my t4 to do my taxes. So with all of this to add besides the aesthetic and nostalgia, i would not recommend anyone to get a job there work place

It is what it is. It's not a store for young kids due to adult themes but it's fun. I will say though, their wall dedicated to dreamcatchers and smudging sage is one of the most offensive and tired things I've seen in regards to appropriating indigenous culture. Putting it with things like tarot cards and ouija boards is so weird. It's a display that shouldn't exist, and shouldn't be sold. Dream catchers are from a very specific indigenous tribe and should be purchased from indigenous artists, and the burning of sage is also traditional indigenous practices that should have more respect involved. It's not a knock against this specific store, but against Spencer's from a corporate view point. It's disrespectful here in canada especially due to our history with indigenous cultural appropriation. I walked in with indigenous people, and we left quickly due to it. We did buy some Disney themed lanyards, but we left quickly.But, the store itself is a good store.

Went in for some replacement plugs because Body Mods was super unhelpful. The lady who helped me pick them out was so nice and properly sized my old plug. The price was way better then Body Mods and I like that they have such a forgiving exchange policy with their body jewelry!

I have applied to work at this location so many times over the years but never even got an interview. I find it funny cause they have incompetent employees that can't open their store on time or keep things organized

Since when is canadian legal tender not accepted. She refused to accept my sons $100 bill to pay for an item. It it was an hour before close and you could see she had enough cash to give him change. My son does not have cards to swipe so he wasn't able to buy it and she couldnt care less. If your policy is to not accept $100 bills you're losing business.

The employee helping me today was absolutely wonderful, they were super understanding and were answering all my questions. Over all I enjoyed my experience and will definitely come back
