Incredibly rude man today and lied saying they had lots of *stock* for dog coats with 3 coats to choose from. Don't bother going in here.

Wide selection of products, ranging from low cost to high value. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and available to answer any questions you may have.A free treat is always available at the cash for furry friends.

Do not bother with this location. They close at 9:00pm and I was there at 8:55, but was rudely greeted at the door and would not be let in. The manager came to scream at me through the door and tried to tell me that because her employees are paid minimum wage, they couldn't keep their doors open until their closing time. I used to love this store and have always gone here for my pet food. This location is extremely poorly managed though, and I will not visit here again.

Unfortunately, I’ve consistently had very bad service at this location. The staff are often nice enough; however, they rarely offer to help. Instead, they prefer to stand around chatting amongst themselves or texting whilst the customer wanders around the store adrift in a sea of kibbles and bits. And bits. I was in tonight looking for a training leash (my second visit this week looking for this, as during my previous visit I was told they did indeed have the item I was looking for in stock, but it was behind a bunch of boxes from a new shipment, and did not offer to help locate it). After I located it tonight (by myself, behind a bunch of shipping boxes as the three staff members stood at the cash texting), I asked if I could return it if it didn’t work out. I received a cursory glance from one of the staff who deigned to look up from her phone for a split second, only to mutter “um, yeah”.If this was an isolated incident, I would not write a bad review. However, that is not the case; this consistently happens here and I do think your staff need some training in customer service and, um….actually doing their job. I understand not training staff to be overly aggressive with customers, as that can be a bit much at times. But when a customer is clearly looking for help or assistance, it is really up to the staff to provide that without having to scream “HELP ME!!!”

Friendly staff, decent selection of items. Only negative is that there is often stuff laying out near the cash, the design of their store could be better utilized for their space and the cash area is an absolute mess visually and functionally.

Got this water dish for my kitten because he loved the one my parents have (different brand). He was literally dragging it off of his food mat, wouldn’t touch it, was drinking from the bathtub water, so I had to put his old dish back out. Turns out it was producing some grey/black residue into his water.I returned it for store credit and they were super nice about it. Tbh, just wish i’d gotten a full refund but I didn’t have my receipt. Anyway, PetValu is always kind to me and usually reliable for quality products - I just strongly suggest avoiding this product.

I've only been to this location a couple of times but the employee (Hilary) working there was so helpful and patient. She directed me throughout the store to buy products for my dog and was attentive to the specific requirements to his diet. I'm very impressed with the service and will be returning. Thanks!

Friendly staff and a great selection

Located right on bank across from a parking lot. Super accessible by public transport. Cute little store, great for all pet stuff. We got some cat toys, food, snacks and litter and all Which have been amazing and greatly used/enjoyed. Wish there was some cat snacks at the front like they have for dogs but it's all good. Its a cool thing to have and it's like baked goods but for dogs
