It was nice to appreciate the end of the snowy condition in this mountain, give a nice different perspective of the hike. Bit more challenging going up with just hiking shoes but going down was extremely fun.

Family friendly hike to the lake! The lake is pretty but can get crowded with loud swimmers in summer.

Such a wonderful hike! The mystery trail was so gorgeous, with multiple views over city worth taking photos. The final dip in the ice-cold lake was a fantastic experience.

Great 30min hike to do with family and kids too. The snow melted a lot in the last couple days so it was muddy and slippery at times. Note: bring insect repellent!!! There were tons of little bugs biting and trying to get in your mouth/eyes

Not the easiest hike, but if you like some challenges, and to explore, you going to like it. Once you get up there, it's beautiful. We went on end of June and it was about 38C, but there were lot of snow at the lake. As per staff best time to go in Mid July or August.

Delightful hike but be prepared for any weather (dry, mud, snow). While Vancouver was sweltering, this hike was still mostly snowy. Made for some fun slides, tumbles were comfortable. Beautiful views above the clouds (some pics of the route)

Its really good hike, easy if you are doing it without kids and dog, bit tough if you are going to bring your toddlers and young dogs with you.Trails are bit narrow at times, they are steep, rocky and full of roots. But this hike is worth the view. Although I wouldn't suggest anyone to bring their kids who are younger than 3 on this hike but it's really short one(40-45 mnts long) if you are ready to carry them during hike. It can get bit steep, too rocky for them, and they can tip over and slip, you'll have to hold their hands while hiking or pick them up to cross the steep and extremely slippery areas..
