The reservation was kept with proper equipment ready on site. My trip was unusual because UHaul called me to say I must return the 15 Ft. Truck from the one-way original route to Elmvale back to Thornhill location. That meant extra fuel.Also, the truck had serious issues with its power between 2nd and 3rd gears. Otherwise, it had good handling on roads.

Great service! I needed to move a small sofa and rented their pick up truck...paperwork was done in 4 min. Very friendly receptionist and customer service overall. Highly recommended!!!!

A miracle happened: I actually had a decent experience with U-Haul. The place is tiny but the lady was nice even though her system was acting up (not her fault). Took pics/videos of mileage/interior/exterior/etc. Just rented a van for 5 hours (even though I was told I can have it for 24 hours) and barely burned any gas because I drove slowly. Passenger seat was covered in dog hair. Wiped wheel and handles down with hand sanitizer and dropped it off through their online system. Was not charged extra (shocking!).

That old lady (excuse me for my description) in the morning shift is extremely rude in personal and over the phone but the worst experience is when I gave her the truck key and returned it on November 30, 2020 at 10:42am but my receipt shows that I returned the truck on December 1, 2020 at 11:45am reason why I got charged for an extra day.She was upset that morning because she said that someone reserved the truck at 10am on November 30 and walked away because the truck was not returned yet but hello? My rental date and time is November 28, 2020 10:39am for 2 days so she should expect that I will return the truck on November 30,2020 10:39am or a little bit late due to possible uncontrollable traffic!Now I have to deal with the regionaloffice for the refund! Wasting my time

I did book a truck well in advance and chose the mobile pickup which implies using a smartphone and sign up for an account. The advantage of using mobile pickup should be getting the rental day or night, not waiting in line so saving time.Well that looks good on the paper" but is not working in real life.After booking

The booking and pickup experiences were fine, but there were plastic boxes and a cardboard box filled with trash that was in the back of the van. We only found the items once we had arrived on-site at our first destination. We didn’t touch the stuff and it took up valuable space that we could have used, but it wasn’t ours to throw out - plus we didn’t have time to deal with it. We returned the van and once we got the invoice a day or two later we saw that they had charged us a cleaning fee. I sent an email to customer service and they opened a case to resolve this. ALWAYS CHECK IN THE BACK AND TAKE PICTURES OF INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. I’ve modified this review because I did get a refund for the cleaning fee. This could’ve been avoided if they checked the vehicle before giving me the keys.

Although we had a pleasant conversation with the women at the counter, the experience was not as expected. The Van was booked from 3PM Dec 10 to 3PM Dec 11, but we were asked to return it the next day that is 11 Dec at 9AM and that was the exact time we needed for moving stuff. The reason being there was an appointment by another customer for the said time.Well we somehow managed to shift our moving on short notice and things worked out, but again there should be a block of 24 hours as and how the customer books.Can do better I believe.

I booked a utility dolly but it was not available at the time I went to pick up the truck, it caused me trouble and I believe it could have avoided if Uhaul could at least let me know in advance. The lady at the reception was friendly and answered my questions with a smile. The truck was in good condition and easy to drive. The online check in and return was easy and quick. The overall experience was pleasant.

1- they lied about fuel level, it was 7/8 and not full tank. Make sure you check2- I rented for 4h and they said no problem to return after to trick you .....they will charge full day3- they lied about mileage used. I drove 30.4km and they charge me for 122km4- local uhaul won’t answer phone so I called main 1-800 number and email to dispute5- i dont believe it was a off experience but easy to make money with most people who don’t check their bill and don’t complain/dispute
