Not the best food

Update as of 2022.09.20 There has been some blatant difference on the food since we last dined here in early to end of summer 2022. Basing the updated review on this. The food tastes different than what it used to be. We suspect the cook has been replaced and unfortunately it has become mediocre. Service is still good though with the open hours, but won't be dining in as much as before.Before update:Delicious and prompt service with a welcome set of menu.We have been going in this not-so-new restaurant since its new management has taken the reins early summer 2022. This has proved to be a good change for the establishment. They do both dine-in and take out, with hours that accommodate both locals and tourists.The place is clean and the staff has been wonderful every time we dine here. We can see the good team work they have from the kitchen to the servers. The pricing is a bit less than the other Chinese restaurant in the island, but the quality is at par if not better.They have breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. The breakfast menu is decent and the pricing quite affordable. We have tried almost all of the menu items - a mix of western and Chinese cuisine - and both a very good. The waiting time is about 20-30 minutes tops and so far they never got our orders wrong.Our favourites so far (and we keep ordering) are the Singaporean Vermicelli noodles, Curry Prawns with vegetables, and the Salt and Pepper Wings. There are other greats items that we have tried and each time, all have been delightfully delicious.We are happy to promote the Sea Raven Restaurant if anyone is looking for affordable, generous serving, and punctual service. We locals appreciate good food, in good price and all in good time.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere. It was the only restaurant open in the area, consequently it was very busy. Almond Chicken breast was very good and tender, not too spicy. My friend had Beef in black bean sauce, delicious with fresh vegetables. From the menu, it wasn’t clear what the dish came with, so we ordered French fries (a lot!) and a bowl of rice.
