They had a great selection of leftist literature on every topic you can think of in english and french. Just remember to bring cash.

Love this place. Volunteer run and had a bin of patches, one of buttons, a corner of free literature and a bin for very cheap books.

I thought the anarchy thing was just for looks, but the majority of the books and literature revolves around fascism or anarchy or similar. Not bad, and a great selection if that's what you want, but I ended up empty handed.

I love supporting this local bookstore. Came in looking for some Marxist literature the other day, and found two great books. One of them was just $2!(Pro tip: bring cash, being an anarchist bookstore, they don't take card.)

As soon as customers walk into the store, it is as if they have returned to the area of 30 years ago: The boss wrote the books purchased by customers by hand and counted the amount with a simple calculator.""

I was amazed by the variety of books they have. So many different topics, they even had books related to veganism which is nice to see that they know it's part of the revolution. They also had some T-shirts and pins to sell. They do not accept debit/credit, but there is an ATM at a convenience store nearby. Just ask the shop owner and he will tell you how to get to it.

Happy to have discovered this book shop in the st.Laurent area. It’s niche topics compared to most book stores, but that’s what I love about it. Prices are more than reasonable and tons of EN/FR books to sift through.

Great small library on Saint Laurent. The collection has a good mix of English and French books, despite the section labels all being in French, so check the covers closely. There was a great selection of free zines and resources from local organizing groups that made the trip especially worth it. They only take cash so make sure to have some on you when visiting. Will go again when I’m in Montreal next!
