Magnificent views, adventurous hikes, full of fun information in geology, this park is amongst the very top park of Canada. Every section is so unique in landscape and their geological traits. Be sure to plan enough time for exploration when visiting NL. I would say that you can easily spend 4-8 days in this park along.

The views were incredible, breathtaking even. The hikes were well maintained and easy to follow, and had informative boards posted before and sometimes during the hikes. The staff at the entrance of the park were very helpful and friendly. Overall, an excellent experience and glad I went.

Great national park and trails, we went in mid September and it wasn't busy. Highly recommend the Green Gardens and Gros Morne mountain trails, but loved all the trails we did and the Western brook pond experience.

Such a wonderful adventure! So many great trails, my favorite is definitely Gros Morne Mountain trail! I highly recommend it. I stayed in Rocky Harbour at Out East Adventure Centre. Nice place for backpackers. You can easily spend 5 days in Gros Morne National Park!

A beautiful place for beautiful hikes. Do it if you're in doubt. Here's a poem inspired by the hike. Enjoy!Into the woodsThrough the meadowUnder fallen treesFootprints indent the soft earthWhatever the reason, leave your burdenIn the stillness, brooks sounding, beckoningFlies buzzing, deterringSigns of forest lifeTime glide like a gentle breezeMoss serve as cushionsBoulder provides shelterFlowers sway in the windBerries dapple the sceneSun rays brighten the wayOne step after anotherEach step brings you closerLeaves crackles under the weightBut if you look back too soon, you won't see how far you have comeOver the rocksThrough the creviceBeneath the waterfallUp the slopeThose who rest too long might forget their willBut travelers who have gone serve as guidesClimb the heights to see beyondA moment, where past and future melt into one.Travelers leave their markBut left with imprint on their mindUntil rain and time, care not to sweep away the traces that were made.

One of the best parks in the world. Spectacular natural beauty. I took a snowmobile trip to the 'Gorge', which is the eastern end of Western Brook Pond, recently. I would encourage everyone to take this trip on a suitable day. It was amasing.

Western Brook Pond boat tours was fantastic. Sunny day, view from the front of the boat and just perfect weather during our time here. The walk-in to the boat tour is quite long, so eat your Cinnabon from Robin's coffee first! The views were incredible to see. Another place you need to visit when on The Rock.
