We had a nice time at Montanas. Our waiter Chris was great. He made some great food suggestions which my wife was very great full for and loved the burger he suggested. My steak and baked potato was also good. Glad we decided to goto Montanas for supper it was a nice evening.

If I was basing this review on our server only, I would have given 4 stars or more. She was assigned to work behind the bar and not the patio during dinner, but she was attentive, friendly, efficient, and checked on us frequently. When we were first seated, it was a bit odd that the gentleman at the front (the manager?) implied that because no one was specifically assigned to the patio, efficient service wasn't guaranteed. I understand that it was busy and we were possibly being squeezed in, but there's probably a more tactful way of saying that service could be more hectic/slow as a result. The food was decent; those in our party who ordered the ribs enjoyed them, and the kids were happy with their meals. My steak was cooked well but the coleslaw unfortunately had a hair in it; my server was kind enough to get them to comp my meal as a result, which was a nice gesture.

Went there today for dinner. We were a group of 10 people and there was only one spot left where our family could sit together. But the waitress who was attending that section refused to serve us as she is too busy helping other customers. There were only 4 other tables with guests. Also other waitresses were available. The restaurant was not busy at all. We truly felt bad and left. Worst customer service ever. Won’t go back

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to visit this restaurant that left an indelible mark on my memory - and not in a positive way. From the moment we arrived, it seemed like everything was going smoothly. We were greeted warmly at the entrance, and our table appeared to be prepared for our arrival. Little did we know that our expectations were about to be shattered by the appalling behavior of the server in charge of our section.As we were trying to settle into our seats, eager to enjoy a pleasant evening, our initial impressions were quickly shattered when the server approached our table with an air of disdain. In a tone laced with condescension, she informed us that she was not prepared to serve us. To say her attitude was off-putting would be an understatement; it was downright rude.We were taken aback by her unprofessional behavior and found it completely unacceptable. It is not unreasonable to expect a minimum level of courtesy and respect from those working in the service industry. Unfortunately, this server failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism.To add insult to injury, the server then had the audacity to demand that we move to another section of the restaurant. This request further demonstrated her complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Instead of taking responsibility for her own unpreparedness or seeking a solution that would accommodate our needs, she chose to inconvenience us further.Feeling disrespected and frustrated, we informed the server that we would be leaving the establishment. Rather than expressing any remorse or attempting to rectify the situation, she callously replied, Ask them to find a place elsewhere." Her dismissive attitude left us shocked and disappointed.A dining experience should be an enjoyable occasion

My friends and I went ice skating and then went out for lunch. This was my first time in Montana. Heard a lot about this place and the delicious ribs. And I was not disappointed! It's been a long time since I ate such delicious and well-seasoned food. I was enchanted. And I know it wasn't my last time in this place. I recommend it to all fans of ribs.

Our recent visit to a restaurant was marred by the appalling behavior of our server. We were a group of 10 people. The reception was good. Server was awful. Her name is Zoe. She informed us rudely that she was unprepared to serve us and even demanded that we move to another section of the restaurant. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction was unacceptable. When we expressed our frustration and decided to leave, she responded callously, showing no remorse. This experience serves as a cautionary tale for both the restaurant management and potential diners. A single rude server can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise decent establishment. It is crucial for restaurants to prioritize employee training and foster a culture of respect. I will not be returning to this restaurant and strongly advise others to consider their options before subjecting themselves to such unprofessional

While visiting family in Collingwood we had a great meal at Montana’s. Not only was the service amazing, the food was fabulous as well. We sat in the dinning room area and our server was a wonderful individual who was both friendly and attentive, making our experience at Montana’s an incredible one.
