Awesome staff who worked their best to get me the best deal! Staff were very knowledgeable, with lots of options to fit my furniture needs and price point. Same day delivery was there on time and they even set it up for me! Highly recommend.

Once my furniture is delivered to me, I will change my review. When the person over the phone tells me my furniture will arrive today between 3pm-5pm, then that's when I expect it to arrive... It is now 10 minutes to 6pm and they are STILL not here. I just moved into a new place and have no furniture at the moment, so I have been patiently waiting all afternoon for my furniture and I'm upset that it's still not here. I have doubts that it will still be coming tonight at all. I called the store at 4:30pm to check if they would be coming soon; staff told me yes they must be almost there, but no, nothing. I'm extremely disappointed. The service in-store was great and the price we got our furniture for was great too, but this whole delivery thing is making me sour. Now the store is closed and I can't get any info on whether my furniture is still coming? Guess I have to sit on the floor for another night.Edit: the furniture came the day after; I had to arrange for my mom to come and wait at my place for the delivery guys, since I had to work. They tried to make my mom pay the delivery charge but I had said I'm not paying it since I never got my furniture on time and was upset with the service. They just dropped off the pieces, no assistance with set up. The furniture is decent quality; not horrible but I will probably buy my next furniture set from a better quality store.

I had THE WORST customer service experience here. First of all I was told I could get my couch in February. Then I get a call (after being there the day before for a payment) that the couch I’m paying on is discontinued and I need to go in a see this floor model right away and get it now or ill never get the couch. So I go to the store and they say they can sell me the floor model. I agree as it was in good shape. I paid IN FULL. They said they would wrap the couch and have it delivered the next day. Make sure I have CASH to pay the delivery guy. Next day, no call, no delivery. I called the store after work, they have the wrong day and said maybe they can “fit me in”. It gets delivered at 8 pm, not wrapped (even though I specifically asked for it to be wrapped as my new place is under construction)which means the couch sat for a whole day on the floor unwrapped for anyone to sit on DURING A PANDEMIC! Also, the delivery guy doesn’t accept cash. I call the store they say I can come get plastic and wrap it myself. They gave me old plastic that doesn’t even fit the couches. What a joke of a business, you should be ashamed of this type of customer service.

Friendly staff and were so accommodating when the couch I had originally chosen did not fit in the stairwell of my apartment building. Delivery was speedy and on time. Would shop there again.

The manager went above and beyond to help us with are defective mattress, he helped us go trough the warranty process with the company and then helped us pick a new and better mattress for are needs. It took a little longer to get the new mattress due to covid delays, but in the end the wait was well worth. We would recommend this store to anyone as a experience was exceptional.

I loved the staff they were awesome.The couch I bought on the other hand, not so much. I have had it for not even 2 years and it is literally falling apart. It is the second couch I have gotten through them because the first one was defective and took almost a year to get replaced the first time. Then when the second one started showing signs of wear and low quality a couple of months after bringing it home, I didn't even bother to call. My warranty was voided with the first couch because it fell apart at the seams. So I am stuck with a couch that uncomfortable as all heck and falling apart.But I know this is not the sales people fault. They do not make the furniture. I just wish the head office would bring in better quality. I feel like I've lost out on 1200 bucks when I should have just went somewhere else.

I recently had to access the warranty company Serveco Canada and as a result of their denial of my claim Surplus Furniture stepped up to the plate and honored the warranty which allowed me to purchase a replacement sofa and donate my damaged sofa to a worthy cause. The staff person Chris was amazing in working with the manager to make this happen. I am 100% satisfied with Surplus Furniture. Great job! I would recommend Surplus Furniture for great service great prices and good selection.

80 days after order no sign of delivery. Absolutely rubbish experience. I hate to give a bad review to anyone as it takes lot of time to build a brand. However I ll have to warn other people before ordering. Unfortunately have to cancel it. And they won't send deposit money hehe have to go and collect $25 bucks. Amazing business model.Learned a business lesson but hardway :)

Very reasonable prices, same day delivery and helpful courteous staff. My fiancee and I basically furnished the main floor of our house with their furniture. Will definitely be returning again.
