I have read all the comments below and have physically witnessed how his staff are treated by some of the most entitled patients.Dr.Bindlish is great , his office is great, the work his staff do and the efficient work is great.I am a new patient and came to his office for an emergency and have since bene followed by him, I have never had a bad experience personally, or witnessed his staff displaying the behaviour as noted in other commentsIf your in need of emergency help or care I highly recommend Dr.Bindlish and his office.Rebecca

This review up is about the front office staff. Lee is great. He's nice, inderstanding and polite with people. However, the girl is verbally abusive. She clearly has a self esteem problem that she has to put people down and literally yell at them for really minor issues. I heard her one day yell at an elderly person saying You're ten minutes late for your appointment!!! You're going to have to wait! Sit down!" She should be fired and should not be allowed to work anywhere with the public as she clearly has anger management issues and is abusive. There are other ophthalmologists in this field to go to. No one should have to put up with this abuse. You can go elsewhere. If you have been referred to this office

Dr. Bindlish is great. However the lady at the front desk is very unprofessional. My mother called to get an appointment asap. When she told her symptoms the receptionist gave her a diagnosis and was very dismissive! Extremely unprofessional behaviour! I understand that during the day it gets very busy and there are no appointments. She could have simply said there are no appointments available. My mother went to another place and she required immediate attention. It's ridiculous how she speaks to a patient looking for help!

Dr Bindlish is very professional and an excellent doctor. I had cataract surgery done on both eyes by him and it was virtually pain free and complication free. A job well done. I would recommend him in a heart beat. Thank you Dr Bindlish

Dr. Bindlish is knowledgeable and his techniques are great. But one of his staff has a terrible manner to the patients, she's rude and very unprofessional when she talks to the patients. She definitely needs some mental health treatment. She yells at people and gets frustrated at work. Who gives her the fight to treat people like that? She even gave patients the expired eye drops. You have to be very watchful for yourself. I don't understand why this nice place keeps such a nasty staff. Does Dr. Bindlish ever check the patients' comments?

The clinic and reception area were clean and complying with COVID19 procedures well. The receptionist was okay. However, Dr. Rajiv Bindlish was unable to provide me proper care. He was dismissive of the problem from the very start of the consultation. He peformed the tests and agreed that I had the condition that I stated but refused to acknowledge it as a problem despite me stating that the condition gave me pain and discomfort. He did not give me valuable advice with regards to treatments. He claimed that at my age (late 20s), I will just have to adapt to the condition. I am very disappointed with this treatment. It was dismissive and negligent. I have since sought out a private eye clinic and am receiving better care from the ophthalmologist there. I would advise, that if you have the resources, to seek out another ophthalmologist or, if Dr. Rajiv Bindlish is regrettably your only option, during your appointment insist upon recieving proper treatment.

Extremely condescending and rude receptionist!No respect for the patient! And Doctor it’s very disrespectful and rude. I don’t know how Health Canada let the practice such a these kind of people. Very disappointed and never had a this kind of experience before in Canada.

If you have any self respect you’ll seek out another office. This doctor and his staff have some sort of mental health issues that they need to seek a therapist for. Treating patients quite poorly (read the other reviews to see). I had an awful experience that left me in tears. Especially the god awful woman names Gabrielle (I think) at the office who yells at patients. I’ve since switched my opthalmologis as soon possible.

One of the best ophthalmologists in Canada. Goes to the nth degree to treat his patients. He is most often behind but you will receive the best advice and care. I am 78 years old and I drive from Toronto to Oakville regularly to have him look after my glaucoma. Everyone in his office is professional and I have the highest regard for all of them. I have been going here for 7 years. Maybe the people who have given bad reviews have ego problems. I am not looking for bedside manners in a doctor, I’m looking for his/her knowledge.

Dr Bindlish and his assistant were excellent. He went over my situation and explained to me in detail what would be my best choice. His assistant was very profesionaland sympathetic to me and to all patients during my visit.
