BEEST Roast beef ramen - Vancouver

It was an interesting experience, they gave ramen with beef and put the broth on the side. The ramen was relatively thick and had a bounce to it, the roast beef was a rosy pink but generally tasteless.Menu is limited for reverse pescatarians, I could only get the Shio. They provide options for adding extra ramen and roast beef.It was clean tasting but I would have preferred more contrast. The ramen came with (only) garlic chips and scallions, and there are condiments on the side, but they really didn't break the monotonous flavours.Overall experience was that the place is nice and aesthetic, but taste is lacking, especially compared to the price.

Great new spot in Downtown Vancouver for dry ramen.What a unique experience, roast beef and ramen. Definitely a place to check out. Love the chili oil and the garlic chips on the table too. I had the Shoyu ramen, and 6oz of beef (+$7.90). Great that there was a discount too.Plus if you sign up to the Kangaroo Rewards app, you can get a bonus 50g noodles, and an ice cream.I highly recommend for you to check this place put and experience it yourself.

Nice decoration with an open kitchen. I got a bowl of Smokey Miso Beest, and I added 6 more ounces of beef. It came as a dry noodle with a small cup of soup on the side. The best part is the unlimited fried garlic!! The server was kinda rude.

I'm writing this review with the biggest stomach I had in a while ITS THAT GOOD! Although they seemingly have a few options they make their few choices exceptional and wonderful made! They use tons of add on toppings to customize your order and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The restaurant also had a free VIP membership that gives you extra noodles and free ice cream! I had the shoyu mazemen and it was incredible the broth to dip the noodles in was hot and very favorful with the garlic chips in the ramen adding a extra crunch and it all just melted into a beautiful symphony in my mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant 10/10 would go again!

I don't understand the hype at all and overall, it's mediocre at best.I arrived with zero expectations except having seen some photos on social media. The staff are quick to acknowledge and get you settled in. They're accepting card payment only and let you know when they greet you.The menu is simple but too simple. I had to ask the server what was included in the dish and in short: pick the flavour, amount of beef, amount of noodles, and add sides for extra $ or order an appetizer if you want. The dish itself only comes with a sprinkle of green onions and roasted garlic pieces. They do have some extra garlic bits at the table for you to add.I ordered the creamy beest (apparently second most popular per the server) with regular portions of protein and noodles but it honestly wasn't flavourful ($17.80 + tax). The creamy beest wasn't that creamy because the noodles were barely coated in any sauce. The roast beef, while thinly sliced and tender, lacked flavour (just salted and nothing else). I don't think they paired well together.The dish is a dry ramen which isn't bad concept or idea but they have instructions on the table telling you to mix the noodles well and I found it ridiculous as I had nothing to mix with as there was no sauce. It was so dry, the noodles started to clump together after a few minutes. They do have some liquid condiments on the table but they weren't labelled.They also give a complementary soup but I opened the container and all I saw was a layer of oil on top so I found it quite unappealing. The soup is to drink on its own and not for the ramen. I tried it anyway and it just wasn't good and I can't tell you what soup it was either.So yeah, overall won't be coming back.Oh and I overheard that take out isn't available as I saw a customer turned away when asked.

Honestly, this place was so good. The service was great. Staff were kind and friendly. The noodles itself had so much flavour and the beef was juicy. Also if you sign up for the V.I.Beest program you get free 50g of noodles and ice cream every visit (I love free)! I recommend!

Unique experience, the ramen is quite dry and comes with a beef soup on the side. Also it is made from roast beef which is peppery. The noodles are soaked with the sauce. I tried Shoyu (soya and fish based) which was great. Very nice service

Ordered the creamy ramen and I absolutely loved it. The dining environment was amazing. Kitchen space was see through and you could tell it’s very clean and organized inside. They also offer vegan options, as well as free ice cream after your meal! 10/10 would go there again ⭐️

A+++……it’s simply AMAZING - service, ambiance and food quality!!The texture of the noodle is perfect al dente and roast beef is oh so melt in your mouth…. and all the flavours so unique and suitable for all palates! We tried shoyu, creamy and the spicy miso… love the garlic chips and spicy oil!!Family friendly and date night friendly with comfy individual table seating and cool bonsai tree in shared table seating….awesome loyalty program too so make sure you sign up for free ice cream and more noodles every visit!Servers are all attentive and so welcoming - love love love this place!!We have already gone twice since soft opening and can’t wait to go again!Thanks Jairus and the entire Beest team for such a fantastic experience!
