Shoppers Drug Mart

this is the worst SDM in Markham. The pharmacist are terrible, medications are never in stock so you have to wait many days for a refill, they give portions of prescriptions and don’t track it, wait times are ridiculous, they don’t acknowledge you in a polite way. Comes across like they can’t care any less about you. Would highly suggest not going here. Would also suggest hiring new pharmacy team members.

Horrible experience for picking up my prescription. Firstly told me to wait 30 mins. After 40 mins wait, the lady asked me to wait for another 30 mins. I asked her why then she told me she put the pick up time wrongly and pharmacist is on break now. Then I came back another 30 mins, my medicine still not ready, and asked me to wait her another 15 mins. So I’m in the store for almost 1.5 hrs, and still waiting. The only “feedback and apologies” from them is only 2 people working and they are busy.

I love shopping at this shoppers, always fully stocked and staffs are all very helpful and friendly.I get all my prescriptions there and never have to wait long. Tanya the pharmacy technician is so awesome, not only she’s knowledgeable but also very helpful. I highly recommend this shoppers drug mart to anyone living around the area.

Don’t buy electronics here! Went in to buy a PlayStation VR headset and they brought out a box with a broken seal. When we asked about it they claimed this is how it came or probably broke in transit. We asked for another box and that also had a broken seal (what’re the chances?)! As a side note, SDM has a no return on electronics policy after they are opened. Luckily we noticed the broken seal and walked away but would not come back here for electronics ever again.

I used to like shoppers very much, but not any more. The 40 years lady who always wear blue shirt , tried to stop another lady helping me. She keep blinking her eyes to the blond lady, maybe she thought I was blind or I was too stupid to understand it. I will never come back. So gross.

The pharmacist here is not helpful and shows no care. Will never come back

I find that the staff in all departments are very good. The pharmacists are very patient and take the time to explain things to me, even if buying a product from the shelves. However, Kelly (male) is exceptional. I have seen him brighten the day for many a senior. He is patient and caring, never rushed by someone taking their time to find the coins in their purse. He knows many customers by name and makes them feel valued. Kelly is definitely a real asset to your company.

I had an amazing experience at this location. I lost my wallet there and I didn’t even realize that until I received a call from Marissa Kilic. She had gone extra miles to retrieve my phone number. Marissa saved me a great deal of nuisance of having to get all my documents and cards anew. Thanks a lot Marissa, people like you make this country an even better one.

I had a terrible experience yesterday at the beauty boutique. The lady working there treated my daughter and and I with complete disrespect simply for trying to smell a Clarins demo cream.I understand that Covid is scaring the community however the way she handled the situation was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Plus the tube was far from my nose as I do very well understand that it’s a safety issue. Maybe if she had acknowledged our presence or greeted us when we entered the store, I would not have helped myself and I would have waited for her assistance.The other issue was that I tried to call the manager and no one bothered to even pick up the phone.The worst customer service ever.
