Dr. Vida Omidvar, MD Family Physician

The administrative staff can be challenging - on occasion I've left several phone messages with no call-backs. However Dr. Omidvar is wonderful; she has a true caring spirit, actually listens to you, and never rushes through your appointment. One small thing - her phone's 'hold' music is a 90 second loop from The Gaite Parisienne and, although it's a great piece, it gets annoying hearing it over and over.

She is not available any time when I need a doctor I should call her office and put a message and if she wants any time her security will call us and give us a late phone appointment and on that time she won't call u.

have been her paient for the past 6 yrs, and I have been nothing but disappointed in many occasions. I have been waiting for a simple joint dr referal for over 1 yr from her, and I have got nothing back. I told her to send me a referal or even simple address of a skin and hair specialist and it has been over a year and i still havent got anything back. Her receptionists were used to gives dates/hr of appointment prior to COVID and are giving appointments after covid via phone but many times I attended my appointment and they said sorry there was a mistake input in system come next time, or in the recent appointment dr called me 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Very diasppointed! ~SS

You won't find a better family doctor in London

Probably one of the laziest doctors I’ve ever heard of. Ive moved cities a lot in Canada and wow, she impresses me with how little she works during the week, and how difficult she is to reach when she does.And I doesn’t even touch on her actual work! Very dismissive and blames things that make no sense even for someone who isn’t educated.I don’t pretend to know about medicine but it doesn’t make sense to blame old age on several serious things

We went to her office and waited there for almost one hour with a new born baby and the office seemed not busy at all.. we had an opointment at 2:00 p.m and at 2:45 still nothing was happening. When i kept asking about where the doctor is? She talked back from her office without seeing my face or coming out and see me she was saying that if we were busy we could leave and come back another day! It was just us and her with one secretary. This doctor made me feel like I was a piece of nothing! She is only good for that. I have never been treated like this by any doctor in my whole life

Been a patient for several years. Like previous reviews from others, she is a very lazy doctor, never diagnosis. Takes several weeks to return a phone call.I'm not sure why, but a couple years ago, another doctor took over her practice for a quite a long time. She was nowhere to be found. It was only during this time, with the other doctor there, that the new doctor did tests on my recurring complaints. Severe soar throat, pains and cramps, always upset stomach, lots of others. This replacement Dr discovered that I have Barrett's esophagus, GERD, hiatus hernia, and diverticular disease. She put me on a med for it.Why couldn't Dr Omidvar have tested me for anything?Once Dr Omidvar came back to her practice, she changed the medication I was on.I went in to St Joe's urgent care after waiting several weeks for her to call me.They discovered lots, including infection and inflammation in several nodes in my throat, said that she needs to see me right away. Took several more months, finally saw her, said she'd schedule me for another scope, haven't heard anything back.Just waiting to see if it's turned to throat cancer and she's done nothing

Excellent Doctor, very professional.

Amazing doctor who’s very knowledgeable and cares about her patients ! She knows my history and never forgets, she also did me a huge favour and accepted me back as a patient after I left the city , she wants nothing but to help and she did and has. I love her as a doctor and wouldn’t choose any other doctor !

Very poor patient care. She only works 3 days a week. I left a voicemail on a Monday got a call back 2 days later by her receptionist/assistant asking questions about my issue and she told me she would speak with doc and call me back. 2 1/2 weeks later got a call back. I had already cleared up my issue myself.Also have to pay for parking to go to her office and they do not validate.When I first went to her as a new patient I and my husband told her we do not like pills. So what does she do.... prescribes pills! That is why I have not seen her in 6 years!
