Little Rocks 'N' Stuff

A few years ago we bought dirt and washed rock. We bought two kinds of dirt one was gardening soil, and the other a topsoil. I have absolutely crazy weeds in my garden. I am sure that what we received was fill or something other than what we paid for. The first season wasn't too bad although I did question what dirt I got for my garden. It has been a chore keeping up with the weeds ever since. I find myself looking for weeds instead of looking at the flowers. O and the rocks have no weeds. :)

This place is simply the best! I've never experienced a company that prides itself on honesty and integrity like these guys. We paid for a load of gravel, some boulders and some landscape fabric. They realized after we left that they overcharged us and waited for us to come back for our next load so they could reimburse us. They're also reasonable with their pricing and if you need delivery in the area, it is quick and affordable (unlike any other delivery service I've used). I will ALWAYS use them for my aggregate needs! I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!

They may be the only place in Sylvan as some other reviewer started, but, with this kind of selection that we need, there are lots of places within a fifteen minute drive, yet I still go to this place because I like what they have to offer, and the workers are nice to talk to.And yes, weeds do sometimes come from the black soil they have, which tells me it is not sterile like some others that need other mixes to get it to produce. Others have complained about the weeds, but in my experiences I only had to pull them once, yet my garden did better than the almost fifteen years I have been planting in it. You will eventually get weeds from the filtered soils you buy at Wal-Mart or the other bulk from the greenhouses, but not right away, just eventually unless you work it every single day.

Theyy don’t offer contractor pricing to new local landscaping businesses, also there 3/4” road crush was twice the price at $40 a yard verse $16 w/ contractor pricing (-$4) at D & M Landscape Depot in lacombe. I give this place two thumbs down. First and last time I’ll ever go there.
