Bamiyan Kabob
Excellent food with generous portions. This is my favorite location. The atmosphere is great. Lots of parking outside. I recommend the lamb shank with the Kubli (Afghan/ Kabul) rice with carrots and raisins. Note : cash or debit only.

We’ve always loved Bamiyan Kabob and glad that it’s finally closer to home! This place has the best Afghan food. Our faves are the kofta kabob and chicken breast kabob. Dinner comes with rice, salad and naan, but you can also opt for the kabob with salad and naan for a lighter meal. Very filling and delicious especially with the sauces!The staff was also nice and friendly.

Restaurant was pretty empty. The cashier is helpful. However the cooks spend more time laughing and talking with each other; and on their phone than focusing on cooking.The meat thus was extremely over cooked and hard. Would have sent it back and asked for refund if I was in the restaurant. I would avoid this new bamiyan location unless it’s gets a strict manager that can get rid of clowning; and get the cooks to treat their jobs as real work. It simply is not the same quality as the other locations I have been to.

The food is good not any more exceptional than the other locations. The chai is absolutely terrible we took a sip and we have to spit it out. It's loaded and sugar and all you can taste milk and cardamom. Apparently comes in from another and they said that they would modify it. Generally speaking you cannot just put sugar in people's tea and expect them to enjoy. The meal itself was good but like I said it's pretty standard to other locations

I found a hair inside my food at this new location of Bamiyan Kabob located in Oakville, Ontario, on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 14:57pm.For the first time visiting and for the new opening of this location, this is extremely disappointing to experience during my dinner with coworkers. We totally got disgusted and agreed and not to come back ever again. I even informed the coworker who works there and she told me she will inform the manager, but nothing was done by anyone, not even felt they cared much about what i told them.Very bad experience.

Super jazzed that a Bamiyan opened up so much closer to home (I think you’ve been open for a while but I completely forgot that y’all were opening up until my boss got me dinner from here about a month ago), before we never really went because of how far away we’d have to drive, but now with it being so close we’ll definitely be back much more often! The service was terrific, very friendly staff, and the food was perfect. Not to mention the prices are really good, you get your bang for your buck here for sure. Huge servings for a super reasonable price. Nice!!

I've eaten in the dining room at Bamiyan twice and enjoyed my food both times. I ordered the Tandoori chicken kabob with Greek salad and bread. It was excellent. I also ordered take-out twice and was slightly disappointed, as the hot, just-grilled chicken was packaged on top of my Greek salad, which caused it to wilt. I mentioned this problem the following time I ordered take-out and the kitchen packaged the kabobs (I ordered them for three people) separately from the salads. Unfortunately, this time they forgot to provide any dressing for the salads or any sauces for the kabobs. The dining room and the bathrooms were immaculate on the four occasions I visited. The food is fresh and tasty. With a bit more attention to detail in customer service, this establishment will attract more satisfied customers. I recommend the food and will visit again, but I will double-check to ensure everything's in the bag before I leave. Nevertheless, give it a try.

Food is ok. But when compared them to Watan Kabab, which is within short distance of Bamiyan Kabab, they will have to step up the quality of service as well as the quantity and quality of food. The table was not clean which created a initial impression about their service and cleanliness. Then, when you find very a single piece of tissue paper provided per dish or person that creates impression of too much cost savings by them in serving customers. Also, when requested for extra fork and spoons, they provided plastic ones. I am not sure if they have used those soft cutleries with their own Kababs and not breaking or bending them!!! The place was pretty much empty where as you have to wait in a que to get sitted even in the restaurants next to it. Bamiyan Kabab needs to take these seriously.
