Dr. Brandon Howell, Dermatologist

I have had Alopecia years now. Been to so many doctors non of them could help me. Until i met Dr.Howell he helped me getting my hair back been going to him 3 plus years now he is absolutely amazing doctor he is just the best AND the ladies also work with him are awesome. THANK YOU

Very experienced and knowledgeable however they are always held back and/or very delayed.I've been told before to show up a bit later than my scheduled appointment time because they are running late.You end up getting there and waiting 20-30 minutes to even get in (past your scheduled appointment time). And then you get put into another room and wait another 10-15 minutes.

Very friendly staff, Dr, Howell was amazing too. He removed my cyst so fast with almost no pain! It's a very welcoming place and unlike some of the other places I've been to, this office makes you feel like they want to solve whatever problems you are having.

Dr. Howell is truly a fantastic dermatologist, with friendly and kind bedside manner. I was referred to his office for two suspicious moles as well as a minor cosmetic procedure. His receptionist and nurse are both very welcoming and friendly. Though it can take a few minutes to see him, I appreciate that he is not rushing his patients and is taking the necessary time with them to address their concerns. Dr. Howell expertly removed my two moles and at the 2-week stitches-removal appointment, he informed me that one was in fact an early-stage melanoma (melanoma in situ). He explained to me that I would be just fine, and his demeanour and disposition were very reassuring. At that appointment, I was prepped for a wide local excision to remove extra tissue around the original incision site (the standard treatment). We had a great chat during the surgery and a few laughs! When I uncovered the incision to re-dress it later that evening, I was incredibly impressed with his attention to detail. The sutures were evenly spaced and very neat, and the edges lined up beautifully. It was truly expertly done and I am confident that his talent and technique will result in minimal scarring! Thank you Dr. Howell! I will see you in 6 months! :)

I found him to be somewhat arrogant and sharp . Maybe l just caught him on a bad day. He had no sympathy for my anxiety about two recent cancer diagnosis and resulting chemotherapy. I did not know which lumps l had could be cancerous. He dismissed me very curtly.

Dr. Brandon Howell is a true people's doctor. And it's so much more than his friendly, good humour. His empathetic approach to medicine is thorough, meticulous, and state-of-the-art.I have been his patient for many years after an initial diagnosis of melanoma which he treated successfully. His good nature and ability to explain all the issues and options in layman's terms make him the only doctor I would choose for my continued dermatological health. I wish there were more than five stars to give this excellent doctor and person.

The layout of the lobby was a bit confusing, not like the typical “doctor’s office building “, finally I registered with reception and waited half an hour then proceeded to wait another 15-20 once inside. Every case is different so some take more time than others so I can understand this. Finally when seen he assessed me and was able to treat me during my appointment. He was nice, to the point and made me feel very comfortable even when nervous as he treated near my eyes. The nurse was very nice and great with local anesthetic. Finally after many years my issue was instantly gone. Worth every penny.

By far the worst doctor I have ever crossed paths with. I had to wait for over 2.5 hours after my appointment time to see him. Then when I got in, he was beyond rude and dismissive. When I cried a bit because he told me he had to do a biopsy and it could be something bad, he stood up over top of me when I was sitting down and yelled at me to “grow up and stop crying”. Then told me that I could either come back to him to remove the stitches or go to my family doctor, but basically told me that I shouldn’t waste his time. I honestly was beyond upset leaving after this appointment. My friend told the receptionist in his office and she said that I was the third person to complain that week about his rude and abusive behaviour. Seriously go elsewhere. I now drive out of town and it is so worth it!
