Roam Monthly Car Subscriptions & Rentals

The service was incredible. I used this service for almost a year. I used two cars during my subscription period. Staff was amazing, the cars were new, clean and problem free. They came to service the cars at my location, did repairs the whole thing. And the rate was basically the same as if I leased a car but I didn’t have to pay for insurance. Well worth it!

OverchargingI had an unsatisfactory experience with a subscription-based car rental company. During my first rental, the administration fee for toll usage was offered at $2, but the second time around, it was $25 per use. For instance, I was once charged $7 for the toll and an additional $25 as the administration fee.They later offered me a transponder at a monthly cost of $25. However, this offer came only after I had received a hefty bill, and was not presented as an option upfront, despite my frequent use of Highway 407.Moreover, their per-kilometer charge is excessively high at $1, a significant increase compared to the $0.3 per kilometer that other companies charge. They have only one pickup and drop-off location, which is 50 km away from Richmond Hill. Consequently, the 2000 km allowance is barely enough, considering that trips to and from their location consume a significant portion of this limit. Initially, their offerings seemed like a good deal, but the total costs turned out to be higher than those of other well-known rental companies.The insurance coverage is not comprehensive, and there are deductible charges.The process of obtaining the car was cumbersome. I had to upload my driver's license three times, which took several days to be confirmed and consequently delayed my pick-up schedule. In addition, the car lacked a navigation system.In conclusion, the overall experience and costs left me dissatisfied. I urge potential customers to read all the policies and fee structures carefully before committing. It seems like their agreement is designed to charge you a lot in some way.

I had a wonderful experience with Roam. Amazing prices (they provide insurance as well), excellent car. The process of registering and picking up the car was fast and easy. This is way more preferable for a rental car than the regular rentals. I would definitely rent with them again and recommend them to my friends. Planning to keep the car for a few months. Crystelle was very kind, understanding, professional, customer-oriented. She was patient with me throughout the process and explained everything for me and always replied to my emails/phone calls and inquiries right away. Thank you Crystelle!

You are not left alone at all and always have someone to take care of your questions and needs in regards to this service.Everyone in the team is super cool, respectful, and nice. They have some games and amenities there and even played with my 3 year old when I was doing my paperworks.The cars are almost brand new and very clean.The prices are not the lowest in the market, but the experience was so great that I will go back to them when I need a rental.

I had a great experience renting a car from Roam. I got a brand new 2023 Kia Telluride for 1 month. It was a great drive at an affordable price, especially in summer ! Moreover Roam has an amazing team and excellent customer service. They quickly respond to any queries any time.
