Nice quiet spot just South of the town of Wawa. Short 5 minute drive to town.We stayed near the end of winter so there wasn't much to do but would be a nice spot to stay in summer / fall. You could easily go for a walk in the nearby woods to stretch your legs after a day of driving.The hotel is family owned.We ordered take out from town and weren't supplied with cutlery??? The owners of the hotel lent us some metal cutlery.Thanks again

Great room and service. Location right on 17 makes it perfect for travel East. Restaurant across the road Kinniwabi Pines is worth the trip.

We had no reservation. Called the previous evening and was contacted the next morning saying they had a room available. Due to weather and traffic we were late but greeted very nicely. Simple check in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend to friends travelling and will stay again.

This is a small, very clean motel... It is my preferred place to stay when driving through Wawa. It's clean and inexpensive, although recently the prices have gone up considerably..... it is still a good value....

Stayed one night after a long drive through northern Ontario. Was a great experience. Fast and straightforward check in. Wonderfully clean room with no funky smells. Simple accommodation, nothing fancy but everything you needed. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but comfortable and clean. Shower and toilet could be updated but were very clean.

Very friendly owner, super clean room with a huge bathroom, well furnished for sitting and nice comfy beds. I would definitely recommend staying here if your on your way through! Check-in was a breeze! If you are a random stop-in like me than you may have to let the room warm up a few minutes. Still deffinetly in my top 5 highway motels from northbay to Alberta

Unlike all the hotels in town this one is reasonably priced.Friendly owner, well kept lawn and picnic area.Room was large, modern, well furnished and clean.Water pressure was great, hot water was onsisinstant.Definitely the hotel to stay at in Wawa.

Best motel I have stayed along the drive to Thunderbay. Great staff and decent clean rooms. Washroom was very clean and everything smelled fresh. I have stayed there 4 times and will stay every time I drive through the area..

This was our first time staying at the White Fang and we would certainly stay again. The rooms are so clean, the bed very comfortable and the linens were so fresh smelling. We love staying in Wawa on our way home from Southern Ontario because of the Kinniwabe restaurant right across the highway. The rates are reasonable. Thank you so much for a great night.The one thing I would change is your shampoo. I found it almost impossible to tear open and finally had to use my teeth -very carefully -lol! It was a very small thing and I usually have my own shampoo with me but forgot it this trip.See you on our next trip to S Ont.

Beautiful small garden with comfortable chairs and fire pit. Also includes a BBQ that has seen better days. Nice motel for the value. The restaurant across the street is a bit expensive for those thrifty travelers, better to drive into town and get something cheaper.
