It was a wonderful evening. I had never seen a scenery like this before. A 180 degree, horizon-to-horizon rainbow. It took me nearly 20 minutes to capture this picture on my mobile. The rainbow lasted for nearly 30 minutes. The next day, a friend showed me a picture of the same rainbow from a location 50 kilometers away in North York, Toronto.

A fascinating family business to visit. Pierre Morrissette gave an introduction and then we had an unrushed educational and entertaining private tour. I came away with a deep appreciation for the care that goes into keeping the public safe with accurate weather forecasts delivered through engaging stories. I'm installing the app!

Their maps of the Toronto area have been wrong for the last few days. It shows Kitchener at the west end of a very large lake..? Toronto is at the top right...not even on the lake..? Tried to contact them through their website but that is apparently having an issue too. No telephone number published for them....of course......very disappointing.

For the most part I love the weather network. I have found the forecast to be accurate 99% of the time. The only complaint I have with TWN is the used to show the almanac on the local forecast (Alberta) but no longer seem to. I hope they bring it back! That was my favorite part of the local forecast! I never thought a channel that focuses only on weather could be so entertaining to watch, but alas, it is!

Came and tried to speak to somebody about organizing a group trip. You can't speak to anybody face to face, but have to talk to a box, and was told by gate reception to use contact us" on the website. Did so but never received any response. It's a shame that PR and awareness are not that important. At least they are Canadian. At least the reporters for the webisodes seem fun. App is good and relatively accurate
