Chow mien didn’t have noodles, just bean sprouts. Also it would be great if there was a tofu dish, like general Tao tofu, for vegans and vegetarians.

Frog legs were fantastic. service was excellent common Chinese buffet items were good quality and cooked well Excellent flavors and good prices on dinner

This is the second time to visit this restaurant. Food is great but the service of our waitress leaves room for improvement. This waitress continued to pass over our table as she cleaned and attended to the other customers. When I asked her to clear the plates from the table she just glared at me...attendee to her station arranging plates, glasses etc before clearing our plates . She then went to all other waitresses in the restaurant telling them that I was annoying..in French...not realizing that I also speak French.The second was the beginning of the implementation of the QR Code. Upon entering we were asked for our code. We did not have it as it failed to download the previous day. As I was explaining this to the greeter, the Waiterss** from the previous visit interrupted yelling that the Town that we were from was in Quebec so there was no reason not to have the code. This was happening at the door in front of all customers. I returned to the car to retrieve my Vax certificate but the Greeter was no longer interested in listening to me...Needless to say we left the restaurant and found a much more inviting and friendlier place to eat to end our 7 hour drive to Mont Laurier. And...we were able to download our Code. I wonder what the 3rd visit will bring.

The only reason I gave it 1 star was because that's the only way I could leave a comment I am from ontario and was refused food because I didn't have a vaccine passportI'm.fully vaccinated but like I said I'm from ontario so I don't have a quebec card to scan .As for the woman who greeted me she was extremely rude

Food fantastic. Outside like old house but inside very nice. I cannot say enough about the food I don't go any other place not even in gatineau when I am there.

Only Chinese restaurant in Mont-Laurier. Ok buffet if you stick with the soups, egg rolls and chicken. Great service but dated décor. Not bad considering you pay about the same price at other fasts food joints.

update... went tonight.. may 11, 2023. The food was really good. Some old school Canadian Chinese food. The price was crazy cheap. Went with our 97 year old grandpa, he enjoyed it. So did my 8 year old daughter, husband, mother in law. (..first visit.. We found it way too doughy, not enough product on the buffet for the lunch rush as we had to wait a while for fresh food. Budget friendly.)

Best Chinese food I've had in the area! Only Chinese food I've had in the area¡Decent variety of food. Quick to refill whatever was emptied in the buffet.It's an old building, but that just adds to the charm of the place, with its Chinese decor.Service was friendly, waitress caught onto my English accent when speaking in French, and she began serving me in English, which was thoughtful and welcoming of her.Would I go back? Yes.

Civid 19 rules in place ,,,, may have to wait un line for the buffet service,,, definitely will spend at least an hour for full meal,,, worth it,, waitress attentive to all customers,,, definitely going back!
