The best Taiwanese traditional tea in the GTA! My personal love is the high mountain ShanLinXi Oolong, which was the love of my grandpa too and my childhood memories of the mountains in Taiwan. It is crisp with an aromatic after-taste that no artificial flavour can compete! I would say ShanLinXi is the signature tea of Taiwan!

If you want a truly premium tea experience with the best quality and an extremely knowledgeable host, CHA Gloriette is the place to goI booked a tea ceremony with my friend and was blown away by the quality of the tea, how knowledgeable our host was, and the overall atmosphere.We tried the Oriental Beauty oolong and the Dong Ding oolong.Both were of extremely high quality and excellent flavor. Our host even sent us home with the leaves that had been brewed, with the suggestion to use them for cold brewed tea, and even that came out delicious.If you are looking for an authentic Taiwanese tea ceremony from someone as passionate about tea as they come, this is the place for you.

The owner took the time to make our tea from cooking to cooling. They always use good quality tea, which is so much better than what you would get from a bubble tea place. And yes, this is the place to go if you want traditional Chinese tea instead of sweet bubble tea.The setting was also amazing. Dont know how many classic and traditional pieces of furniture and tea pots I've seen.The only thing is that they don't offer dine-ins. But who cares when you are in a tourist region where you can easily find seats somewhere else or simple carry it on your way to explore the surroundings.

sign says tea shop and gallery but it’s not opened, only for appointments and specifically only for $50 tea ceremonies, really disappointing to come only to see that it’s closed
