The fried chicken station is always empty or closed - even during peak meal hours (couldn't even order at 6:00PM on a Friday night). Pumps are broken on a regular basis. The place went down hill ever since Mike sold it.

I went here to the country style on Saturday morning. I ordered a BLT on a bagel. I noticed something on the bacon when the man put it in the microwave to heat it. I looked around the plastic in to the bacon container and it was full of fly's!! So I told the man no thank you there's flies in the bacon. He quickly turned around put the lid back on the bacon container and said so you don't want it. I said ummmm no there's flies in it and you put flies in the microwave. Again he said so no you don't want it the. You changed your mind.That's just wrong and so super gross. Absolutely disgusting. I don't know how or why they are still open.

Good place for coffee and breakfast,clean bathroom, pleasant people, used to have THE best chicken strips and wedges! But the pieces are smaller,less tasty yet the prices went up :( Grandkids couldn't wait to get a double order every time we left for the 8hr drive back to city! What happened? However , they have a subway inside,as well as Coffee Time, and a small convince store for all your smaller quick needs, hours are great 5am-11pm, and the only place open after 8/9pm :)

The convenience area is not as bad as the rest of the store but was still better before mike sold the place, the workers in the convenience section are typically really nice and don’t give me a hard time, on the other hand, the workers from country style and the subway are decently rude most of the time, they visibly show they’re annoyance when taking an order especially if it is slightly longer than a typical order, multiple times I’ve seen and heard them complaining about me making an order and will typically respond in rude and annoyed tones, the food in country style, is burnt most of the time and usually gross, same with the chicken and wedges, the wedges get re-fried now also. It’s either under cooked or over cooked to the max, and the workers visibly show no care in trying to even make a sandwich. The subway food is what you’d expect and not necessarily bad, just the rude workers.

I had a really good experience here in spite of all the bad reviews! I was visiting Haileybury from Ottawa and as I got off the bus I was hungry and thirsty. Bought some beverages at the convenience store and the guy at the cash was super nice! Bought a sandwich at subway twice and both ladies at the cash were so sweet. Younger lady with black hair and another young lady with blond pink hair were both incredible! Sandwiches were awesome. They were generous with the veggies unlike in Ottawa where subway workers are so stingy. I came here both at subway and the convenience store a few times and never had a bad experience. Ironically most bad reviews are about the people but to me the people are what made this place stand out. In a world full of unhappy and miserable people it’s nice to be served by genuinely happy and kind people. Ps make sure to tip. They work hard and deserve it.

I bought My gf a sub and when I got home she started to eat the sub and half way through the sub she noticed mold on the bread ......how can a buisness that serves food allow to sell food that can make people sick and it's a shame cause I'm the one who suggest subs to eat and now I can't suggest that anymore because now we can't trust that the food will be fresh and ready to eat so that's 5 people in my household that will no longer trust subway not that subway is gonna care but i do hope they will atleast re refund my money

If I could give a zero star I would! Ordered subs and when I got home I noticed my sub was unusually dry, I proceeded to eat it and noticed part way through that my sub bun had mold growing on it in different spots!! I am by far soooo extremely disgusted with the new owners and workers who couldn't even bother to take the time to make sure the old buns were thrown out instead of serving the buns regardless of how old it is!!. I will not be ordering from this poor excuse of an establishment again!

Brutal, slow and frustrating customer service. No respect given to most customers, unless your a friend of managers/staff - then you get somewhat normal service over the regular joe.Managers allow 2 of 3 employees, at least one of which is regularly stoned out of her mind, to stare at the ceiling or pretend they are busy while 6 people are lined up to get coffee - all while only one employee is actually working.They run out of gas on a regular basis because they don’t pay their bills on time, don’t make repairs to gas pumps in a timely manner (3 weeks I couldn’t get a gas receipt from the pump - have to go in and stand in line after being forced to pay upfront)

Since Mike sold the business…it has been going down hill for the new owners…constantly running out of receipts at gas pump with out refilling them…this was the last day that I will be getting gas there or any other items until they shape up and upgrade there service…could even get a regular receipt at country style today for my business …

I'm only giving a 2 star because of the rest of the location the subway here not sooo great.Rude staff, and selling menu items that they don't have the products to support.
