Unbelievably shoddy work. Less than three days after the repair was done, these guys’ glass only screen replacement led to a green line on the screen that won’t go away.I’ve never had a screen problem even though the glass has been cracked for a while. I have not taken it anywhere outside my cushioned bag, as it is an old backup phone. While you guys are doing a glass screen replacement, you mess up my screen for the first time. Looking back on other reviews it seems like this has happened a number of times before — I should have heard the warnings.

DO NOT take your device there. No accountability and bad customer service. I took my iwatch there for a screen replacement with everything functioning perfectly. After they replaced the screen the battery would be on for only 5 minutes. I’ve taken the device back there three times and no resolution. They kept saying that the screen is not related to the battery, however the battery was not faulty in the first place. The same day I went there two other costumers were complaining about bad service. Hope your experience is not as frustrating as mine.

I came to this store for the first time to get my phone backglass replaced. When i came to store , Patrick treated me with big smile like I am regular customer. Got my phone backglass fixed in reasonable time. Got discount on new screen protector.Thank you Patrick for your help. 100% recommended.

I'm hard on my phones: dropping 'em, losing 'em, crushing 'em, accidental reboots... Twice now the lads at this little shop have saved my bacon when I needed complicated repairs/ replacements at the last minute: and they take careful note of the fact I'm always broke! Affordable, efficient, and friendly as hell - especially Patrick. (Yo, Pat!) Strongly, strongly recommended.

Screen repair took 2.5 hours, longer than the 2 hours that they told me it would be done by, had to wait when I went to pick up. Screen works, although the workmanship was not great. Both the screen and back plate have gaps now between them and the phone. The glue is uneven, sticking out from the phone at many places. And it would seem that my proximity sensor is confused now by all the glue on it(the function that prevents the screen from being used in the pocket).

My phone was sitting on my desk at work and the screen went completely black, unprompted. I tried every method to get it working again but to no avail. A few months prior I had gotten the screen fixed at cell clinic for over $400, needless to say, I was not impressed at the longevity of that transaction. The screen itself had no physical damage to it anywhere, and to my understanding should fall under the warranty.I went to the storefront and was told by the attendant working that my phone actually had been broken, but on the INSIDE, where I could not see it. He proceeded to point at a perfectly intact screen, telling me it was broken. There was no visible physical damage to the screen, meaning what they sold me most likely was faulty. The phone itself is in a case at all times; a case that I bought from them no less. They did not want to honour the warranty they themselves placed on their work. He told me he would have to go through the chain of command to see what could be done. I obliged and left the store with my phone in hand.I followed up a few hours later only to be told that the best they could do for me was charge me another $250 to fix my problem. At that point, I would have spent half the dollar amount of a brand new phone fixing an old one, at a store that can’t back their own work or policies. I wanted to speak to someone higher up, so he connected me to the manager, Peggy.Dear lord, Peggy.I was at work when I answered her phone call. She mispronounced my name right off the bat, which is normally fine and not an uncommon occurrence, so I corrected her, *3 TIMES*, to which her response was ‘“well, that’s not how WE pronounce your name in CANADA”. My jaw hit the floor. For context, I’m a brown man, first generation Canadian; this kind of rhetoric is not new to me, but I have never in my life encountered it as a customer from a business. This was the tone that was set for our conversation. She then proceeded to yell at me the options I had, none of which I found particularly satisfactory, and proceeded to call me a grifter, and accused me of looking for handouts. I laughed in disbelief and discomfort of what was happening, to which she then responded by getting even bigger and louder. She told me to come get my phone and never come back, all offers were now off the table and she hung up on me.Well, my dear fellow customers, luckily I didn’t have to go back, they never had my phone in the first place, and I highly suggest you don’t let them get their hands on your phones either. Unless you enjoy throwing away your hard earned money, and being told how your own name is actually pronounced, I would not recommend this business.TLDR; terrible customer service. Very questionable work. The store manager Peggy is a racist.

Chun and Patrik did a fantastic job repairing my cell! I had dropped it and the phone went dead. I left the phone with them to do errands and when I returned in an hour, they told me what the problem was, my options, and estimate. Everything was upfront, very courteous and friendly. The problem was with the battery circuitry and charge port. Initially, the charge wasn't taking and my option was to buy a replacement phone but they kept on trying until the problem was resolved. Plus, they gave me a discount! Thank you so much!! I am a happy and satisfied customer and I'll return for any other future phone issues. All the best guys.

If your phone has a black screen and you can't check the serial number be sure to make note of the IMEI number on the back so you can make sure you get the right phone back. I left my broken phone for two days to get a data transfer onto an external hard drive and I was given the wrong S21 when the transfer was done. I didn't know it was the wrong one until it was rejected from Virgin Plus/Asurion for having the wrong serial number and IMEI when I had to return the broken phone for insurance reasons. This data transfer was the only time in 2 years that I didn't have my phone on my person so I knew it had to be a mixup here. Initially the reply to my email didn't address my suggestion of a phone mixup so I went in person to try and resolve the issue because I knew the IMEI number for my old phone due to using Find My Phone which told me when it was last active which was before my appointment with Cell Clinic. Martin was nice and understanding when I explained the situation and is the reason why I didn't give this experience a 1 star. He found a S21 that was opened that could've potentially been my phone and fortunately when I came back later it was confirmed to have the right IMEI. Although I did have an unpleasant phone conversation when I returned a missed call where the guy was very dismissive and getting annoyed that I was trying to call back the other technician who I missed the call from. It seems like a 50/50 chance if you get someone friendly. Peggy was helping me during the next interaction and was super apologetic when we figured out the problem. I had to come back another day since they were fishing out some of its parts (Sim card holder) from a box and had to put it together. When I came to pick it up the technician gave me the wrong phone again which is why I'm writing this bad review because after all that they were still not being careful. Luckily I knew now thanks to Virgin that I can look at the IMEI number on the back. I was freaking out initially but luckily for me Virgin Plus and Asurion were patient as I tried figuring out the situation. Still no idea how this happened besides the initial technician not communicating with the others when he left the company and I was told flippantly by the last technician that they work on 25 phones a day so that's why the mix up happened. I was almost charged $400 in fees for my non-return with Virgin Plus because of this mistake. Peggy and Martin were the only pleasant interactions I had during this ordeal, everything else was frustrating.

What a great experience. I cracked my phone screen and was able to make an appointment early morning the next day, and was out in less than an hour with a new screen. Thanks to Ahmed for accommodating my busy schedule. Very appreciated!

Was quoted $340 (with tax) to fix my DJI mini gimbal. They told me the whole thing needed to be replaced. Sent it to DJI for a second opinion…they fixed it for $130 (with tax)The people are nice, but they are dishonest. Misrepresented my issue and tried to over charge me. I would caution anyone and everyone before going there.I appreciate the quick reply of the employees at Cell Clinic on this post. Perhaps its a front of staff training issue when they communicate the technicians diagnosis.
