Did business with this company for over ten years with no complaints. This year never showed on 2 delivery dates, never answers phone nor responds to emails and mail box always full. Will take my business elsewhere.

Next to impossible to get in contact with and when you actually do the delivery dates come and go with no wood being delivered and no contact on what's going on. I've been buying from this company for many years and have never had one problem. I would have preferred an honest reply instead of delivery dates that come and go with no wood.

This company is out of business. Drove out to see them in person to ask about why my delivery did not show up found locked gate and the yard in shambles. Can’t believe they didn’t tell the people who were counting on them for wood that they would be left hanging. If you are waiting on a delivery from good wood it is not coming.

We have been ordering wood from Good Wood Fuels for the past 3 years. Always great and timely service. I ordered our wood for this season back in June to be delivered last week. In August I called to confirm our order and all seemed well. I called again 2 weeks ago, fearful of the reviews that I've seen here on Google. There was no answer (their voicemail was full). I tried repeatedly over the next few days and still couldn't get through. Delivery day came and no wood was delivered. Fortunately I was able to make a rushed order with Parsons - due to the late order we got wet, unseasoned wood. Parsons was great, we'll be ordering with them for now on.

Have used Good Wood for the last 10 years, and never had a problem. This year, the delivery didn't show up, no one ever answers the phone, and there is no reply to my emails. I'm forced to assume something happened and the company is no longer in business, and I'll be looking elsewhere.

We had the same experience as others here. Last year was great, they showed up on the correct delivery date, the wood was fine. This year we pre ordered about 2 months ago for a September 10th delivery date... still nothing. They never called, they don't answer when we call them and the voicemail is full. Luckily its a warm September!

So the word is that Good Wood is no longer in business. I've been patiently waiting for many weeks for my wood. I would recommend to all to just order from another supplier.

We have been heating with wood since 2004. In 2005 we ordered from Goodwood Fuel in Bedford, NS. Every year the wood is consistently of high quality, seasoned and ready for burning. The staff are always courteous and respond to calls in a timely manner. We order our wood in June, stack and allow it to finish the seasoning at the house and when November hits, the wood is dry and efficiently burns. For the past three years we have also taken advantage of getting our natural Christmas tree from Goodwood. The trees are fresh and lose few needles. We will continue using Goodwood as they are an extremely reliable business.

Last year the service was superb but this year I ordered 2 cords of wood, they promised to deliver at the end of August, but no one showed up, no calls from them. I called them for 3 consecutive days after the labor day, no one answer the phone and the voice box is always full you can't leave a message. Farewell, no business any more!
