Absolute nightmare plumbing disaster!!! After waiting for his part with no communication for 9 weeks, Darryl shows up at 9am out of the blue for the fix. He proceeded to incorrectly install my tub spout, flooding my entire bathroom and downstairs walls!! When I called back, he showed no concern or accountability! My advice is to stay clear of Darryl if you are a homeowner!

STAY AWAY!!! Short and simple...He left clients of mine high and (not so) dry after completing an install, which subsequently flooded the entire main floor of the home because of an incorrect install. He took zero action to rectify the situation nor has he taken ownership. As a local Realtor, I will not be recommending him to clients any longer and rest assured agents at my office have been made aware of this terrible level of service.

After what is considered a simple plumbing fix, he destroyed both the upstairs and downstairs of my home. Not only is he unaccountable for his actions, we had trouble contacting him for weeks leading up to the fix and even after the damage had been done. Super unreliable. Stay away!

My go to guy for every problem that I've had. They've fixed everything from a leaky shower faucet to water heater replacement and drain cleaning.Alway fast and professional work at a reasonable price.

Stay away! Hired them for a simple sink install, when he left it was already leaking, took him months to come back and fix it. Came home tonight and they drain had disconnected from the sink because he was too cheap or lazy to install straps to support it in the basement. I'll fix it myself this time! Save your time and money and hire someone who is competent!

Darryl installed a thermostat on our shower; told us we needed check valves to stop leaking. The wrong parts came and he said he would order more. We waited almost 3 months; then we received an invoice which included the two parts that we never installed. He said they were sitting at his wholesalers shelf. I said don't deliver them until I talk to my husband and followed it up with an email telling him we didn't want the parts. Guess what? The parts were sitting on my doorstep the next afternoon; expecting us to install them ourselves. I sent him an email telling him to come back and pick up the parts; he told me if he did that there would be a $25 restocking charge. He also charges $20 for gas and a labour charge of $105.00. He said he was being nice by not charging two labour charges; it wasn't our fault the wrong parts were sent. He said we have 5 days to pay the invoice or it is going to collections. Wow! Stay away!

We have dealt with Darrel at Lens Plumbing for many years. Before that my parents dealt with his dad. Darrel is a highly skilled plumber who is fast, efficient, and very personable. His rates are very reasonable. He comes highly recommended and I would refer him to anyone!!

Awful experience!!! This plumber caused a multi-storey flooding to my house! Didn’t even bother to check his work, or feel badly for the damage! All Kitchener-Waterloo homeowners beware—I would stay clear of Darryl from Len’s Plumbing!
