Always friendly staff. I rent here pretty often and they are great.

I booked a car from the Costco car rental for best prices and it assigned a car from Budget on Gladwin. I picked up the car and it was ready as scheduled. I drove home and then our plans changed: we didn’t need a rental car any more. So I returned the car within about an hour of renting it. The supervisor/manager waived the entire fee and cancelled all charges on my credit card. He didn’t have to do that, but he did. And he was training someone and showed him how to enter that info in their system. In other words, he was training him on how to be helpful, not just taking money from their clients. Thank you very much and I’ll definitely book my next car rental from this location!

I recently rented a car from this location, and I must say that Sydney's service was exceptional. She treated customers with respect, kindness, and utmost professionalism. Sydney's patience and attention to detail made the rental process seamless and enjoyable. Her dedication to providing outstanding customer service truly impressed me. I highly recommend this location for their excellent service, thanks to Sydney's exceptional qualities as an employee. Five stars!

I've rented two cars here. The first one had an unbalanced summer tire (in the winter) that made for a really uncomfortable 14-hour highway trip with heavy vibration. The second car, they 'Made a mistake' and gave my full size $40,000 Camry to another customer and with a straight face tried to give me a $20,000 sub-compact Nissan Versa as an equivalent car. When I rejected that, they told me I could drive 30 minutes to the airport to pick up a car there and re-do the rental process. Having refused that, I am now being offered another car. I'm now waiting in the parking lot, one hour after I got here, waiting for them to wash the proposed car. At the counter they handed me a damage inspection form showing no damage. Upon inspection, I find the rear quarter has minor accident damage. I go back in and they say that they have photos of the damage, and not to worry. I take my own photos, because what do I have to show if they later claim the damage was mine? An inspection form that shows no damage. Hey Budget/Avis, what do you think: should I rent from you in the future?

Cheap rentals! Good service and sometimes you get Brand New cars for rent! The place also has a lock-drop facility in case you want to drop the car during off hours!

I have 1500$ rental coverage. I had an accident. Called this place to try rent a car. They wanted my insurance to email them and talk to them directly. Never heard of that before. And I will DEF be looking into it... I had the claim number. Etc. Policy number..yet they wouldnt rent to me without my insurance directly contacting them...this isn't right and undermines paying for rental coverage insurance in your policy..also they demand a *500*$ deposit...where as I was quoted 100$ by ANOTHER budget in the same city... and usually it's a 100$ deposit on a credit card. ANYWHERE....alsonthe rates here were 69.99 a day for the CHEAPEST veichle they have!!! that's like 25,$ more then what i had rented a 2021 before a few years ago...I'm not mad at them but wow.. it's called budget rental...and they ask more of you then anywhere else.

We had never had problems with Budget before, but we would not recommend this location. The car smelled of cigarettes, but we let that go, since vehicles are hard to get Labour Day weekend. About 20 minutes down the road, we stopped for an hour. Returning to the car we noticed our tire was flat. The roadside assistance changed the flat and pointed out that 3 out of 4 tires on the car were bald and unsafe. (He used the word, 'illegal'.) He warned us not to drive far or fast, so we returned it to the office, which was closed at the time. We are just grateful we never got onto the highway. The next day, the person at the desk was apologetic, but he did not have authority to promise a refund. Two days later we were finally able to speak to a customer service rep who assures us they are working on a refund.

Budget rental car is a complete and utter disaster. Not only did they outsource their roadside assistance to a company that was completely incompetent and unable to provide even the most basic level of service, but they also left us stranded in the freezing cold on the side of the road with a flat tire.The customer service was cold and inflexible, showing no concern for our well-being or safety as they refused to take us any further and left us to fend for ourselves in a strange town at 11pm on a Sunday night. To add insult to injury, they charged us almost $800 for a five day rental, which was an absolute rip-off given the complete lack of service and support we received.I will never rent from Budget again, and I strongly urge anyone considering using their services to think twice. Not only is their roadside assistance completely unreliable and ineffective, but their customer service is lacking in empathy and concern for their customers.Always check the spare tire before renting from Budget - you never know when you might be left stranded and alone on the side of the road.
