Baker's Brook Falls
This was our first Gros Morne Park stop. We found it was a perfect way to introduce ourselves to the park while stretching our post-flight and drive legs. The falls are very pretty.

Baker's Brook Falls
These are the best falls in Gros Morne in my opinion. The hike out is about 4km, but very easy going. There are numerous board walks and a couple of side-trips available. I'd recommend going to see the moose exclosure... And area where moose are kept out. It's a real lesson in the effect moose are having on Newfoundland's plant life. When you get to the falls the path gets a tiny bit muddy and a little steep but it's still pretty easy going. There are three falls and you can view them all easily. The path gets really busy though so I'd advise going in the early morning to avoid crowds

Glorious exhibit of nature's beautiful primal power! Hike was not to difficult, just a little long for us at the end of a long day!

8km trail, moderate difficulty with mostly flat areas and some climbing as you approach the falls. Dress for a hike, bring water and wear proper foot wear. It took us under 3 hours to complete.

An American does Newfoundland. Florida to New York City to Newfoundland. The odyssey of life. Brought my family on pilgrimage to see L'anse aux Meadows but fell in love with Gros Morne along the way. Newfies should hide Gros Morne from the American public---our national parks are so over crowded and it is just as beautiful if not more so than any. Enjoyed the walk in the rain to the multiple falls. Saw a mother moose and calf, which, knowing how unpredictable and aggressive adults can be worried me but they stayed calm and my daughter got an extraordinary wildlife encounter from the relative safety of the boardwalk. A fairly easy trail, much of it flat, well -maintained. The varied terrain and the great interpretive signs and boardwalks make it educational and keep the feet mostly dry. I do wonder a) what it is like in winter on snowshoes and b) if it is even open. I would love to come back then, though my wife and daughter not so much.

Baker's Brook Falls
This is a beautiful hike , approximately 10km return. The trail goes Thru Very unique fir tree forests and marsh areas to get to the falls. This is definitely worth the hiking effort!!!

The walk in is over halfway on boardwalks: you can make excellent time as you cruise through the meadow and Marsh areas, so the longish walk in goes quickly. The views of the falls are from the two lookouts positioned near the top and bottom of the falls. Enjoy the views, and keep a lookout for moose on the way back to the car!

The hike out to the falls was very easy. Informative and beautiful. The end of the hike you arrive to the stunning view of the water fall and a lovely seating area to take it all in.
