Good place for kids, family and friends. Wonderful spray park, kids play ground and nice walking as well as bike trails.

Beautifully done and well maintained Park. People will share the trails as a cyclist or just if you're walking. Nice benches and picnic tables to sit out along the way. Surprisingly extensive trails. There is some construction along the river under the trestle bridge near St Albert Place right now, but you can still walk the other way in an easterly direction.

Great park in the heart of St Albert. There are lots of trails and green spaces to enjoy here. There is a playground for the children. There is a bridge over the river that is nice. There is no washroom facilities available here but there is a mall nearby that has washrooms. There are some benches but no picnic tables.

My 3 year old really enjoyed it. Small double slide and a taller slide along with some swings, a bench and a picnic table. A few other things like a climbing wall and things to swing from for older kids. Overall it was well kept. Definitely a place to check out.

I don't have pic to add but I love this little spot along the hiway. Have stopped here now 4 times I'm the last 6 months with pups in training or transport. We always meet someone and their beautiful kids. The last time I stopped infact I met such friendly little girl I named my friendly little cockapoo after her.The park is a perfect stop to let your kids or dog out to run around, stretch your legs, have a picnic or soak up some sun and fresh air. Fall colors were beautiful and it's got an outside Biffy now that's pretty handy for those needing to make a quick pit stop.

Excellent little off-leash area. You'll often find a few other people here with their dogs, as it's quite central on the river paths and popular. This makes it a great place to gently socialize your dog without having them surrounded by dozens of dogs like some of the larger off-leash parks. There's trees for shade as well if your dog is overheating. The only downside is that this off-leash currently doesn't have a waste bin right on site, but you only have to go about 50m in just about any direction from the park to find one.

My little dog likes to walk the paths. So beautiful. We see the beautiful migratory birds finding their food. Swimming with young birds following along. Beavers busily working away at whatever beavers do. A wonderful place.

Such a great alternative for downtown river valley! When I moved to North Edmonton, I missed the River Valley until we found Red Willow Part in St.Albert. Wonderful place to go for walks, bike rides, running.. Even for your dogs! There's people kayaking, too. You can bring your food as there are benches to sit on. Protect yourselves from mosquitos during spring/summer.
