La Bréhandaise Market

I was excited to try this small bakery, I love fresh bread and pastries and small markets. The chocolate croissant supposed to be an staple here but it had barely any chocolate in it for 4.5$, the image doesn't even do justice! The Apple tart was good and breads didn't look fresh.

Absolutely wonderful service from Pierre each time we visit this lovely authentic French bakery. The trianon, apple turnover, pain au chocolate, Mille-feuille, and chicken mushroom tourtiere are exceptional. Highly recommended to friends and can’t wait to go back after every visit. I placed an order over the phone as I wasn't going to be home for Christmas. I ordered a charcuterie board and a box of desserts to be delivered to my mother's home in Richmond Hill. Placing the order and receiving order confirmation was seamless, the delivery went as expected, they delivered it on time, on Christmas Eve and my mother was very happy to receive this gift. From what I was told they enjoyed the charcuterie board greatly and the desserts were on point. Thanks so much for the awesome service!

Love the taste of France in this amazing gem hidden in Oak Ridges. Croissants are the real deal, unlike most. Baguet is what bread should be and the young lady at the counter was super sweet. Definitely a weekly repeat for me now.

One thing our family always looked forward to on our weekly trips to the Farmers' Market was enjoying a crepe brunch from La Brehandaise. So when it came time to organizing a retirement party for a co-worker, what better way to celebrate than with a crepe party served by a French chef? Needless to say, it was a hit! The crepes were delicious, the portions filling, and the service was excellent! Pascal and his family arrived on site with plenty of time to set up, were attentive towards the guests, and did a thorough job of cleaning up afterwards. I made the arrangements with Pierre, who always responded nicely to my many questions. We can only get the crepes from their store now, but we still get to enjoy their other goodies at the market. I highly suggest their ratatouille and pear tart. Really, you can't go wrong with anything they make.

I was in today to buy myself a quiche as everybody talks about how great it is. I’m not going to lie. It is a great quiche. I was just a little bit disappointed because when I bought it, they did not mention that the quiche I bought was frozen until I bought it home and wanted to eat it for lunch. I just wish they would’ve mentioned it to me when I buy a quiche at a bakery that displayed as fresh would’ve had a sign on it that its previously frozen. I did call and was explained to me that the veggie quiches are made every Saturday and frozen fresh. Which they sell during the week I do think they should have a sign displaying that it’s previously frozen.

Fantastic French bakery! We really enjoyed the millefeille and croissants. Will definitely be back to try other things soon. My husband loves pastries and we agreed that the millefeille is excellent!

La Bréhandaise took care of the catering for our wedding. It was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the team was friendly and more than professional. Our guests are still talking about it. We will never forget this event !
