I wonder why a person could not enter into the Red Cross,I had to wait outside .Beside that I found it was good

I have much respect for the workers after seeing how some of the people looking for help treat them

Came in as one of the many evacuees... They told me to go to another branch because their office does training for first aid and bullying work shops ect, but didn't deal with disaster relief". I asked for help and advice and the secretary looked at me like I was daft or speaking some foreign language. Two buildings less than a block apart and both Red Cross signs on the door--but one branch has no idea what the other deals with/protocols or who to contact in an emergency. This is disgusting to have people working for the Red Cross who are so dispassionate and lack the interest in helping real people. Pat on the back for scheduling bullying work shops--that helps when your community burns down. I everyone in your office experiences what we have from Fort mcmurray so you can begin to comprehend what difficulties many of us face and then maybe you'd be a bit more interested in helping people who have experienced loss. Or maybe you'd just sit back drinking your coffees and answering the phones like real warriors for "the cause". I'd be ashamed of myself if I was working in your office. Go stand in a line for a few days and be given a number
