Golden Loong Restaurant
I've craved Liang-pi (cold noodle) and hand-pulled noodles ever since I was introduced to a restaurant serving Xi'an cuisine in Edmonton, and wondered if I'd find this food again closer to home. Fortunately, a coworker told me about the Golden Loong Restaurant! My boyfriend and I ordered the Spicy Pork Hand-Ripped Noodle (Xi'an Style—my favourite), Cold Noodle (Xi'an Style), and Shredded Cucumber with Chili Sauce. Everything was delicious and had an enjoyable heat that builds over the course of the meal. The large portions also made the dishes great for sharing.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg. The spicy pork hand pulled noodles are the best! My second favorite is the cold noodles.

I have been meaning to try this place on the recommendation of friends and family but it’s my bad that it took me so long. I have been looking for the famous Biang Biang noodles in Winnipeg and upon google search I found they serve them under the menu name oil splashing noodles so I ordered from them and the noodles were everything that I have ever imagined them to be and more. Delicious, savoury, spicy with a nice kick but not overwhelming. The noodles are broad hand ripped kind and the serving size is good as well. The place is small and cozy and the customer service is good. Every time I have ordered pickup, the food is always ready on time piping hot. As a small business delivering big taste, I highly recommend this place.

It took me and my partner a while to sift through the numerous Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg, but when we saw the menu and reviews of the Golden Loong, we knew we struck gold.From the hand pulled noodles to the beef in chili oil, to the cucumber and garlic salad, we finally found the food we craved since our stay in Beijing 5 yrs ago! Thank you for the great service and the awesome meals guys.We went 2 nights in a row.

The food was delicious. We went with the popular hand pulled noodles and garlic eggplant. I would go back just for the noodles. The peppery chicken was delicious but nothing spectacular. The part of the restaurant we were in was a bit cold. Our server was friendly and made us feel excited about the food.

First time here was last year. It’s become a favourite since then. We get the green beans (when they have them) and the peppery chicken every time. Lovely to have authentic northern Chinese food. Only wish it was closer :(

The Xian style noodles here are the best in Manitoba, also provide delicious other Chinese dishes. I have been here for few times and they even have vegetarian dishes. I specifically tried sour and spicy flavour dishes. Definitely recommend if you like Asian cuisines and looking to try things in Winnipeg.

The cold noodles are very good. Eggplant dish was good as well. it was a good experience trying chinese dishes other than the common western Chinese/ southern Chinese dishes
