Lots of new, insanely cool equipment, and a super friendly, clean, and positive environment. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive, from the staff to the other members.

Gyms membership in Penticton can be very expensive. And even though, this is probably the most affordable gym in Penticton. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to my friends or family, simply because the timings here are very inconvenient. Needs more flexibility-especially during weekend mornings.

Clean, well maintained and good value for membership price. Lots of machines and equipment geared toward a variety of styles of exercise. Large enough facility to comfortably workout. Friendly helpful staff. A great community, or a place to be left alone while you do your thing.

Not necessarily the fault of the owners of the gym nor the management of the establishment, but if you’ve the type of person that appreciates natural light, looking out the windows while walking on a treadmill or even simply being able to see if it starts snowing during the hour you’re working out… well unfortunately this is certainly not the gym for you. My guess is being that it was primarily a racquet club before a gym, quite literally the only windows are the ones by the front door. I have not noticed if there are a skylight or two, but once you walk through the front door, the whole place might as well be subterranean.Also, not stating this as opinion whatsoever, merely fact, but there are certain times of the day where, although the weight training rooms are designated “women’s only”, upstairs, and “co-ed” downstairs; & I think that’s super awesome to provide women a safer place to workout with ideally less judgment hopefully allowing ladies that were too nervous before a place to come and build confidence.. im totally 100% for it. But in reality it ends up being almost exclusively men downstairs and women upstairs & again , that’s a statement of fact only. But it does contribute to both the energy and the atmosphere (or lack there of) at times when it’s a gym full of 16-20 year old boys grunting and on their phones.. if I were a lady, not a chance would I come workout around that when the energy and whole environment is better in the ladies only section.Just my two cents. Other than those two things I mentioned, and completely overlooked when I joined a year ago, it was sufficient enough but by no means mind blowing.

Wonderful gym, fantastic value, and friendly staff! The equipment is well-maintained, everything is sanitized and tidy, there's lots of space, and the extra perks such as the hydro massage, massage chair, tanning, squash court, oxygen bar, and supplements are all a huge bonus! Perfect location as well.

I love this gym! I joined this gym a couple of months ago, after being unhappy at my last gym. There’s tons of equipment and several different areas to workout in. The facility is always clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Nice clean gym super large area to move around in perfect all around with great staff who care about there clients.

I would always give this gym 5 stars. The athletics room was probably the best in town and I know lots of people that specifically moved to World Gym Penticton because of it. However, now there has been so much new equipment purchased and thrown in, it's no longer an athletics room and you can barely move. Now every room is filled with machines and it is super cramped. I was really hoping it was a temporary place for all of the equipment they purchased but I don't think that's the case. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for a new gym because of the changes if they're permanent.
