I don’t normally do reviews but this place is the absolute best. Eddie was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Even during a busy rush hour he was amazing and gave me some recommendations to sample. Shop here if you want great tea, service, and overall environment.

Large selection of teas and accessories, excellent service. Bring your own container for refill. Rewards program is handy, but I would come back without it. Very aesthetically pleasing inside as well!

We stumbled upon this place during a family trip to visit the grandparents, and I'm so glad we did! As many times as it's been said, everyone there is amazingly nice! They were friendly and accommodating, and were really generous with advise as well as free samples. Since we live in the U.S, my daughter the tea fanatic was so happy when she realized that Acquired Taste has a website that can get the tea to us! We'll definitely be back, in person or online.

We got a gift basket from here, and it was a great experience buying. The owner worked with us to figure out tea flavours, and the gifts were cute. The price was very reasonable, and there were many many other options as well for any price point. The store smells amazing.

Incredible tea blends with intricate balances of flavours, no sweeteners even needed! Wonderful service even through the pressures of covid. Hands down my new favorite tea shop! Always something new to try, and never fails to lift my senses and my mood!! Will be by for a visit in the coming months ☺️

Every time I come in here I receive excellent service and leave with delicious tea. I have my favorites (winter dream sencha!) but always enjoy trying new-to-me suggestions from the employees. An amazing gem in the neighborhood.

Just ordered for the first time. I ordered Irish Breakfast and Earl Grey. Both are delicious, fresh and aromatic. They are also advertising supporters of CKUA and I appreciate this! The online ordering was easy and the curbside pickup easy too. The little free sampler they inluded is a lovely touch. So much to like!

Just started getting into tea. The lady there was a little hoity at first, but I soon realize, she knows her tea. So I got to give respect where respect is due, and like I said she was a master of knowledge about tea.

This is a great local tea shop! I stumbled upon it looking for a gift. I was able to find a wonderful tea pot that was exactly what I was looking for. Anna was a great help and also educated me on some tea to curb my coffee habits! Make sure to pop in if you're in the area.

Incredible! The staff, the service and the teas are all absolutely divine. I’ve been to Acquired Taste Tea Company a few times and have been blown away both times.I used just “sort of” like tea and drank it because it wasn’t coffee in the afternoon. That was until I discovered Acquired Taste. The quality of the tea is second to none. Even just the smell of the tea leaves was enough to make me realize the top tier quality of the product. Once it’s steeped, it’s a delicious experience for both senses, taste and smell. I won’t buy tea anywhere else going forward.
