Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre
What a fine communal place to convene with locals and other visitors hailing from lands far away! I have frequented this centre for its skateboarding facilities during the winter, which has continually served as a necessary escape from the bitter cold of the unforgiving season of snow. I send my gratitudes to the fine staff of this centre, for their perpetual and relentless support of the skateboarding community in this district.

Played on the outdoor rink a few weeks ago during a warm evening. Women's shinny time. Only had brief interactions with the young staff. Nice people. Had a great time.

Area is super sketchy and so is the rec centre. Cancelled our swimming lessons here because the locker rooms and showers were gross and the pool itself was very old.The facilities are very outdated. I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing my young kids here.

Great big grass areas to play sports in or relax with friends. It is a big dog area so expect to see many people with dogs. 2 Tennis courts, Basketball pad, soccer field and many more sports related activities here. In the North area there is a play stucture for smaller children with sand.

I like the place because it is a good facility for the summer camp. Large open field, great indoor and lovely staff.

Court could use some fixing up and basketballs are not the best but the staff are really good.
