Wow!! All I can say about Hooligan’s restaurant is a perfect place to host a party. I planned a surprise party for my mom and was emailing back and forth for months with Adam, the manager. He was so responsive and communicative on expectations. I lived out of town so I had many questions. On celebrating the party, our waitress was so lovely and sweet. She was polite and organized. it was a group of about 15 and they had another party upstairs, but our section was totally blocked off and private from the rest of the restaurant. We stood and mingled, decorated the space with balloons and table toppers and they put no time restrictions on the celebrating. Hooligan’s has a chef (karen or kathleen - can’t remember her name) who made an amazing cheesecake birthday cake for my mom. It was exactly as described and so delicious. They went above & beyond for our party and my mom was so pleased. All the guests raved about the food and service. Thank you hooligans!

Localicious with friends. Main and dessert were good. The salad had alot of limp and brown lettuce. Our server was nice. Downstairs ladies washroom had no soap only a very dirty looking bottle of hand sanitizer.

What a great Place! I Have been going here for years and recently spent Canada day evening on the rooftop with my wife.The new owners are fantastic!! It doesn't make sense to open a bar if you don't have a license".....What about the staff? This is what the new owners understand. While probably losing money hand over fist

Waited anxiously to have a nice lunch with my husband for his birthday, was told we had to wait as there was no space in upper patio to seat two people, was also told that although I'm disabled and need to a walker I wasn't able to bring my walker upstairs. I said that was fine I would figure it out.We then waited until a man came in asking for the upper patio, to our shock he was sent up, when I questioned to hostess about what had happened we were asked if we were waiting for someone by the same hostess that had told us to wait!So we leftThis restaurant/Bar (although they don't serve alcohol because they don't have a liquor license) does not care about there patrons.Very dissatisfied, would never go again.

It was a very nice experience. At first glance, the patio menu seems small, but the food choices are varied. The service was good, the view was fantastic, and the vibe was great.

Stay away. 4 of us ate here tonight and we wish we hadn’t. No liquor license yet because of new owners who are supposed to be established in the business which is fine but the food and service was not. The menu was small with a lacklustre choose. We ordered and waited almost an hour for our food with only one table a head of us. When it came out the chicken on one sandwich was dry, burger was room temp and the HOOLIES CUBANO was dry and greasy with a funny taste that was room temp. After eating they cleared our plates and we waited 20 min before someone came close enough to us to ask for the bill. Shame it use to be good.

We were there Saturday night for a friends birthday, and it was super busy but our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was awesome cool, she was soo friendly and nice and they are very lucky to have her

Myself, husband and son dined at Hooligans on Saturday June 17th 2023. I cannot say enough about what a great experience it was for the 3 of us!! Our server(really wish I would asked her name) was amazing! She recommended the Island burger and boy was she right!! It was delicious, a grilled chicken breast with pineapple and their secret sauce..lol. it was through the roof delicious and chef Mike is pure genious in the kitchen.Hubby had the smash burger and he said it was the best burger he's ever had!! To top off our wonderful experience was Hooligans manager Grace. This lady does a fantastic job, super friendly, welcoming and just made our dining experience even better!!I highly recommend everyone go check out this awesome gem of a restaurant located in Barrie's beautiful downtown.Grab a table up on the roof deck and enjoy the amazing views of our gorgeous Kempenfelt Bay.I told Grace we're coming back for my birthday on July 3rd and I'm so looking forward to it!!Well done Hooligans staff, we are most definitely going to be regulars.I give Hooloigans 10 stars!!!!Go try it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

Loved this spot! The rooftop is second to none, the service from both Karlyn & Grace both went above and beyond to make the experience fantastic. Definitely will be back this summer!! Food also on point!
