Dan is officially the only person I'm going to go to for computer troubles from now on. Not only was he very affordable and very quick, he was also very kind and understanding. I called him in a bit of a panic as I thought I had completely lost everything on my old computer. Years of art and commissions that I had almost completely given up on (as well as years of video game saves, and stream VODs.) And he was able to recover everything for me, and move the data onto my new computer. I cannot stress enough how much this man did to save me and my work, and he did it so easily. The reviews don't lie, he deserves every single five star review. I cannot thank him enough, he truly is a wizard, I sincerely thought everything was gone forever, and here I am, opening an art file I thought I would never get to finish. Dan is very professional. He just did an amazing job on my laptop.I couldn’t access to the desktop, the loading process was taking forever. I was gonna buy a new laptop until I saw Call the Computer Wizard on the Google. He found out the problem and replaced a hardware. My laptop works like new.Quick and convienient computer repair. Dan is awesome! He literally saved my day! My external hard drive crashed without any signs and I had photos from 2013-2019 and several important videos on it. I reached out to Dan, trying to see if he could help my recover the data. I would say he was able to retrieve all my data based on my memory. At least he got all my pictures and videos back, which is all I cared about. The price was reasonable. I did some research on the cost of data recovery before I called him. I would say the price is reasonable or even far below the market price. I tried to get quotes from several big companies and I absolutely cannot afford their service for my 2 TB external hard drive. Highly recommended!

Too bad there are not 10 Stars because Dan deserves way more than a 5 Star review!! He was kind, calming and quick. When my external harddrive failed (which I use every single day as a professional photographer) I was in panic mode. Even though I have those same files backed up many places, this one particular drive was all set up for daily use that took me years and years to arrange and organize. I called Dan with The Computer Wizard on a weekend, and was so relieved he was LOCAL here in Rochester, NY (unlike some of the other places I reached out to that requested you mail your devices to them in a different state!). Dan said I could bring my external passport to him right that minute, and within one day he had diagnosed the issue… not only that, I decided to request 2 copies be made on 2 new drives, and even though there were billions of images and he was transferring and backing everything up in duplicate, the turn-around time was only three weeks! The price was so reasonable, well below what I thought it might be for all his hard work. He stayed in touch with me, and reassured me all was fine, because my career was on that broken hard drive. I don’t know how he did it, he is a magician, and I am forever grateful. Not that I want anything of mine to ever break again, but if it does, I now have the peace of mind that someone literally 15 minutes away can help me. I read all the 5 Star reviews left for him by prior customers, and that is why I called him. I hope that my review will convince you to do the same, you will not regret it!! He knows what he is doing and I could tell he enjoys it and is very passionate about helping you.

Dan truly had saved my photography business when he was able to recover some of my work! I am truly grateful for meeting with him and all the hard work that he did for me when he did his 110% best to look for my work that I thought I lost forever. Dan was very professional and listened to me patiently explaining the trouble with my son's desktop computer. He confidently spoke about what he thought it might be and I was able to bring it to him an hour later. He repaired the computer and it was ready the same day. Dan salvaged 15 years worth of live music recordings from an old hard-drive that had stopped running. These were priceless and unique recordings, and he really helped to save an era. Price was well below competitors, and he's just generally a good dude. A+

The owner is very friendly, understanding, and cares about your situation. My entire business was on a hard drive that one day stopped working. He understood that I needed it back quickly. His turn around time ended up being a week. I'm not sure how data recovery works, but I'm hearing that's on the quicker side. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his prices are very reasonable. All of my data and files were there and he saved my life for sure.
