havent gone back here in years because our first visit didnt leave a mark back in 2018. Not sure if they changed the menu or the chefs but everything we ordered this time tasted great. The portions were justifiable. The prices were not too expensive considering the inflation these days. Loved the traditional decor and calm ambiance. It was a busy rush hour and we didnt have a reservation. We had to be at the bar but didnt mind it since there was only two of us. We got to see the chefs make the food in live time. Will definitely visit again

Updated: We went there again tonight and all the food still tastes amazing. My number one choice of Japanese restaurant/Izakaya.We ordered a lot and all tastes great! Staff were friendly and reminded us a lot about Japan. Will definitely going again!

The best sushi in Edmonton in my opinion. The quality is incredible and service is always good. I recommend the bluefin tuna nigiri and scallop (they use real wasabi with their sushi!) and the sakura roll. So delicious!

Anytime we're craving Japanese food, this is the place we go to. The customer service is fantastic and food preparation/presentation is second to none. The atmosphere is warm and low-key without any pretentiousness.I highly recommend anyone who wants to enjoy amazing Japanese food to visit this restaurant!!

Terrific sushi, very polite staff, the food is great. My waitress Amy is super helpful at explaining the various dishes and that's a huge help. She's very polite and always has a smile.I have eaten here over 10 times and each has been a terrific experience.

Great food and friendly staff. Be sure to have their Sake Cesar drink. One of the best tasting Cesar's that I've ever had. Carbonara Udon is always my go to dish there.

The food here was great and very fresh. I really enjoyed it. It does get quite busy so I recommend booking a reservation in advance. The staff were so kind and welcoming! The atmosphere was so nice and cozy. I really recommend the Melanie roll, Sakura roll, sashimi, and the crispy honey bread. This is probably the only sushi restaurant that is always consistent in Edmonton, AB.

Wow! Absolutely incredible flavor. Dishes that I would highly recommend are the takoyaki, lobster roll, and finish off with the honey crisp bread sticks. Will definitely be coming back.

Best Izakaya experience in Edmonton! It was my wife's birthday and they made us feel like family. Terry was phenomenal and the food was out of this world. Each of the dishes left us speechless. Highly recommended!

This is a nice spot with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Rolls are delicious and the Okami Kasu beer was light and delicious. Good spot for casual dinner and chatter.
