Difficult to rate the services as we didn’t get that far. This company was referred by someone I respect very much so guessing that what they do, they do very well. My efforts in vetting the company were to better understand what it is they provide. I was told it is ‘a 25 page report and everything the bank needs’. The issue with that is the appraisal is an independent request and not for the bank but to help us better determine the value of a potential purchase. I don’t need to know multiple pages of sales in the area, I can get those from our realtor but they didn’t explain nor send an example of what they provide.Seems in hindsight that would have been the solution.So, it seems that asking too many questions about what is included in their fee and trying to determine what kind of assumptions they make within the appraisal is grounds to turn the business away.Adlaw owner quote;“Hi Graham,Adam here, owner of Adlaw. They follow up with the client regarding the payment and the booking of appointment, AND we are CC'd on all the communications. There is no guessing, we know what to expect and they deliver.I receive the appraisal report before their promised delivery date.Adlaw may not be the cheapest appraisal company in the market, but you have the confidence that you are working with reliable professionals at a reasonable price.
