London Top Tailoring & Dry Cleaning

Got a quote from this business for simple dry cleaning. Explained exactly what the issue was, the size and description of the article of clothing. Brought the item in to be charged over double what was quoted. Ended up forgetting to make it in to pick up before the deadline, which means after that point the item is forfeited to the business and it becomes their property. Yet this business keeps calling me off several different numbers, getting young children to even call and leave messages. This has gone on for OVER A YEAR now. We don’t even live in the city anymore for pick up, it’s way past the deadline, lost my paper required for pick up a long time ago, and legally it’s your property after a few months! Stop harassing me off all these different numbers. It’s like a bad EX - even though you’ve moved on, they are still caught up on you, calling you off other people’s phones like they arent conspicuous. Not sure why you think it’s professional to have kids do your bidding. There is no reason to keep contacting me at this point. You should know how long you legally have to hold onto the item before you’re entitled to it for yourself or for donate. It is no longer mine to pick up.

Hamid is amazing!! I asked him to tailor my wedding dress and when I tried it on, it fit perfectly! He also cares a lot about providing excellent service. The wedding dress has beaded patterns all over it and he went the extra mile to ensure that all the beading was fixed as some parts appeared to be broken. He did what I asked for and more to ensure that I have an amazing dress for my wedding. Did not hesitate at all to give a good tip. Thank you!!

I took in a dress shirt and pants to get alterations and needed them done fairly quickly. Hamid was fantastic. He said it would be no problem to get it done in the time I asked. He was very friendly and pleasant to deal with and the price was reasonable. I would definitely go back again for any alterations I need done.

Outstanding service! I went to this tailor for the first time and I can't say enough wonderful things about the high quality of service and delivery! He knew exactly what I needed to make my dress fit perfectly. Very professional, kind and friendly. Excellent attention to detail and very accommodating! The gentleman who runs this place is very friendly, kind and easy to deal with. I first brought in a double-breasted jacket that needed to be taken in on the sides, and have the sleeves tapered a bit. While pinning the jacket, he listened to what I wanted in terms of fit, and made suggestions so that I got exactly what I envisioned in my head. A couple of days after that, I brought in a morning coat which needed some more waist-suppression and needed to be taken in a bit at the back. I was a little nervous about bringing it in because they're kind of obscure, and some places will even refuse to work on them. Again, while doing the pinning, he worked with me and got the fit exactly how I wanted it. The pricing is very reasonable and the turnaround is quick as well; much quicker than I was expecting to be honest. I probably should've brought both garments in at the same time (and felt kind of bad about it), but he was kind enough to offer to have them both ready to go at the same time. I'll update this review when I pickup my garments, but I have faith they're in good hands. My experience in dealing with them so far prompted me to write this review, as it's honestly the best visit to any tailor I've ever had. I noticed he also has the odd vest or jacket for sale as well, and they also do custom work, but I guess that doesn't happen until the winter, since I'd imagine they're quite busy in the summer with proms and weddings. I know I'll be referring to this place as my tailor" from now on

I have gotten both a wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress altered here and the results are incredible. I was told my wedding dress was not fixable by multiple alteration stores, when I came here I was told “no problem, we’ll make it perfect” and it’s true! I was blown away by what incredible work they do here. Save time going to any other alterations place. This is the best in London and beyond!

I took in a winter jacket that was quite old and the only problem was that the 25 inch double zippers in the front were no longer working. I couldn't give the jacket away and I couldn't throw it away. A friend recommended London Top Tailoring and I wasn't sure that this was the sort of thing they would do.Not only was I greeted warmly but assured that the 2 zippers could be replaced and that a good part of the problem had been that the original zippers were plastic and could be replaced with steel. This was such a good outcome and the store itself has a wonderful atmosphere.The work was done at a more than reasonable price and my jacket was as good as new in 4 days as promised.I have no hesitation in recommending the people and the integrity at London Top Tailoring and I am currently trying to find something else of my own that needs a visit to them.Sincerely ......Maureen Waller

I last minute contacted them for wedding dress alterations and they took it on without any hesitation. I went in with a dress that wouldn’t zip up and left with a beautiful corset style back, that’s done perfectly. He took extra care while cleaning the dress as well! It’s absolutely perfect for our special day!The service was fast, friendly & affordable!I highly recommend this place!

London Top Tailoring is by far the best tailor I have used in London. Hamid helped me out of an emergency situation with a suit jacket and pants. He seems like a genuinely nice person with an incredible work ethic. Would 100% recommend London Top Tailor to anyone who needs tailoring services.
