Blue Lake Provincial Park
Nice and fun park with limited facilities. As to my experience, there is always a line-up for shower and toilet. However, it was crowded, active, and fun park.

Beautiful nature surrounds this area, boasting some of the finest beaches and lakes. Regrettably, the park's management leaves much to be desired. A few camping spots are disappointingly tiny, making it impossible to even set up a tent. Our visit coincided with Canada Day, the busiest time of the year, and to our dismay, most of the restrooms and showers were closed for renovations. We were forced to endure queues of up to an hour for basic necessities like showering or using the facilities. It begs the question: why couldn't they schedule the renovations for a different month? It's such a shame to witness such poor management of such a breathtaking location.

Always used to come here as a kid. Beautiful park. The boardwalk trails are well kept, maintained and very scenic. It Water is clear and blue. Overall enjoy out stay. Would definitely come back and hopefully soon. Watch out for ticks in June.

First timer at this location. Found the entry driveway and access roads to the sites super narrow with not enough pulloffs to pass other vehicles. Especially when pulling a fair size RV trailer. The staff at the gate was friendly enough but didn't provide any direction to sites. For example, our camp site number was 204. However, each block of sites is distinguished by a letter and then the sites are in those blocks. However, your entry slip just tells you the site number and not the letter so we drove around for 20 min before I found a park ranger to ask. Over all the amenities are plentiful and well maintained with water station, 15A/30A sites, washrooms, showers and garbage and recycling. The fish cleaning house is excellent and cleaned often. The beach is long and wraps around the park shore and is as nice as any destination beach with soft sand. Overall a nice park, and will stay here again. Now that I have knowledge about the park, I'll make different arrangements for a different sitenext time

Blue Lake is a top tier car camping experience. Every amenity you could want, experienced and friendly park staff, and great discovery programming. The beach is so beautiful and lined with picnic tables, several play structures. The sand is soft and the water is crystal clear. We go every year now.The park has recently had funding or staffing issues as some of the infrastructure like showers and washrooms have been closed. The site clean-up crews, clean showers and well maintained washrooms are well appreciated. Thanks Blue Lake Parks team! See you again next year :)

Just got back from Canada day long wkd 2023. Be aware that most of the flushing toilets and showers are out of order. The park was booked solid and the line up for the showers was long. The front desk clerk said she didn't think the washrooms would be open for the remainder of the summer so be prepared. Also, there are fire bans in the park.Other than that, beautiful park, beach and hiking trails.

It's our second time to camp here and this place is always nice and calming. The lake is very clear though it's really cold. There's also a lot of staff that roams around and check the area.
