Love love love their Brunch buffet! It’s $59.99 per person including drinks (coffee tea juice). They have a variety if selections; hot breakfast dishes, dessert, omelette bar, roast, fruits and salad. The service was excellent. Not only refill water, but also kept the bottomless coffee thermal full.Be sure to reserve online! It gets seated quickly!

Celebrated a birthday during the cherry blossom afternoon tea. The experience was so amazing and we all had so much fun. Walking in and seeing the cherry blossom set up really put a smile on my face. The service was really good. Wendy was our server! For food: the savoury section was my favourite, the scones were really good, and the desserts I found just ok but overall all good! It was also cool you can buy the tea you drink!

Lovely little place to dine post shopping trip. Haven’t had a burger in so long and heard the Reuben and classic burger was a good choice so we ordered one of each. Unfortunately today their fryer was not working so there was no fries so we each picked a different soup.We originally wanted to walk-in for afternoon tea but found out it wasn’t offered on a Monday. However, our waiter was such a darling and gave us a tour of the high tea room. This seasons theme was cherry blossoms to celebrate the spring season. We definitely want to check this out before they change the theme next month.

I finally got to try this place out a few weeks ago for brunch and it was very good! Great service, great food, and of course great dessert. The food quality is amazing, however there's not much meat / seafood option since it's brunch. Highlight for me would be the dessert and the porchetta at the carving station. The porchetta is seasoned nicely, very juicy and very crispy. The striploin was a bit tough for my liking though. I only tried a few dessert since I ate too much porchetta, but the few that I had, the crème brulee and the lemon meringue tart was really good! The crème brulee has a really thin crispy top which I really enjoyed and the lemon tart was perfect sourness to me.The price is definitely pricey especially when kids are charged half price as long as they're under 12 (and I have two toddlers). This is a place I'll recommend but definitely not come unless it's for special occasions. One thing I did notice is that there's only 1 washroom stall located inside the restaurant (at least that's the one directed by the staff) so there might be a lineup if you want to use that one, or you can go out and use the one in the hotel.I also need to mention that the location is very close by the two train lines, so it's easy access by transit. However, if you're driving like me, there's actually really cheap weekend parking at the Royal Centre (entrance on Melville St and Burrard) that's right across the street from Fairmont Hotel. It's $2/hr compared to $4.50/half hr at some places nearby.

I went there twice, and I can say they have very good food and also drinks.I got an Espresso Chai Martini both times. Their Crushed potatoes were too salty and so asked them to change, however the second time was the portion less and was still a bit salty.Their Pan pacific Cod was really good and 100% recommend it.I love their salads too.

A group of us wen there just for drinks, since a couple of us really wanted to try this place! I personally never heard about it, but assuming the location, the atmosphere, the price you pay, should be worth it. While looking at the menu, I noticed that you can customize your drinks by rolling the dice! So I asked the server if we can anything special from rolling the same dice? She mentioned if you roll all 3 dices into the designated number you can get a free drink. 2 of us get excited and wanted to try it. Later, the manager came by with the box and dice and explained that only happy hour would have the free drink rule! Too sad we missed it. Anyways, 2of us rolled the dice and tried this adventurous game, it was alright, nothing special. Mediocre drinks! But I ordered the salted caramel cheesecake, that was AMAZING, perfectly baked, it’s not too condensed and the caramel was just so good! I recommend to try it!

Had an incredible birthday / early mother's day brunch with my daughter and mom at Notch 8. Every single item from the buffet was exceptional. Ample vegetarian options, and also offered to make fresh vegetarian eggs Benny. We thought it would be a fun fancy treat, more for experience than food but we were wrong. Excellent food all round, fresh, hot, and high quality options. The best part however was the service. Raluca D. was beyond attentive, thoughtful, and we all remarked it was the best service we'd had in recent memory. She also took time to acknowledge my daughter, which helped her have an excellent time also.Excellent and will return, thank you Raluca.

We came here for the Lunar New Year High Tea and we were impressed with the decorated tea room and ambience. They brought the scones out first, and waited for us to finish that before the rest of the items came out. I wish we took the scones to go instead of eating them first, as we got too full to finish the rest of the items - we ended up taking the desserts to go. We were told by our server to eat the savory items first as they were nice and warm, but unfortunately everything was cold. The flavors were good, but we do wish the savory items were hot. Overall, a great experience!

Lunar New Year Afternoon TeaI’ve been to a couple of the teas experiences at various fairmont locations. There is plenty of different dishes to fill you up. There tends to be more sweet than savoury dishes. The menu is set, but I’m sure they could probably accommodate for dietary restrictions.I really enjoyed the Lunar New Year themed. The ambiance and dish selection was pretty spot on to the occasion. The space is intimate but spacious enough to cater to bigger groups. Although the place was full, it wasn’t noisy.Tip - each person chose a different tea to try and you can share as you get your own teapot with unlimited hot water refills.I’m looking forward to attending more themed based tea experiences. I’m never disappointed with experiences at the Fairmonts.
