The food was not the best , got served cold and we ordered the Hunters chicken which was supposed to come with truffle potatoes but the potatoes had no truffle ! The service was very slow too . But the waitress was amazing her name is Keira i think and she gave us complimentary dessert because she noticed we where celebrating an occasion :)

I have been to many Jack Astor's in Quebec (Montreal and Laval). My experience there was better than the one on Bloor (Toronto). The service was very slow. I ordered a steak, medium. I got it really well done and couldn't enjoy it. I didn't want to return it because I was hungry, however I finally asked for a replacement. It took a while to get it. I was the last one eating. Everyone was already done with their plates. That's why I didn't really enjoy the experience.I still gave 4 stars because, overall, the food, the location and the vibe are good.

The honey garlic chicken strips were very delicious, the fries were nice and firm but soft, and the brownie was great. Only thing slightly off was that a fifth of my ice cream melted before it reached my plate. Still an amazing experience with my server Andi, the atmosphere was great, joined their rewards club for 15% off, got to play a song on their stereo. I would recommend this place highly

Food was tasty. Seats were comfortable. Side salad has gotten smaller than before and drink was a bit too iced out. They seemed to be short staffed, so the service wasn't great when we went. Overall, not a bad experience!

Everything about this place was good but not amazing. The food was ok, my steak was a little bit overcooked. The servers were nice, but they forgot forks for our table. The atmosphere is nice, I do like the paper and crayons they put on your table so you can draw with whoever you're with to pass the time.

Typical Jack Astor's location, but with a default tip starting at 18% instead of 15 or 10.The food was okay, the upsell for a double shot was fine, but the experience wasn't memorable.The Jack Astor's chain use to be one of my favourites both in person and with delivery, to the point of racking up a $300 bill one month on their food alone.But either I'm growing tired or it has lost it's charm in comparison to all the other restaurants who have stepped up their game.This particular location gets 3 stars because of the above, and my waiter kinda forgot about me so I had to go up to ask for the bill and pay.Thanks for all the good times Jack Astor's, now it's time for me to move on.

Went with a group of friends and although they were packed they quickly found us a table. Found the service to be fast but everyone’s food had something wrong with it.I ordered their “famous” chicken tenders with lemon pepper and they were extremely salty! I was so hungry I didn’t want to return the dish but I regret that decision.Side of truffle fries was good and so were the drinks but I highly advise you against ordering that flavour, you will regret it.

Have been to Jack Astor’s (multiple locations around Toronto) at Yonge and Bloor many times - it’s in Yorkville and about a 5 minute walk, makes it really convenient. It’s accessible on both the north/south Yonge line and east/west Bloor line (being at Yonge/Bloor subway station) your getting super convenient and centrally located. The variety of meal options from burgers, wraps, chicken fingers, salads, wings and nachos coupled with some appropriately sized after work drinks can make for a good outing!!I have a couple of friends who work at this Jack Astor location, so we’ll stop in to see them and grab a cocktail. Friendly service and the coolest sayings on their work shirts. I have been to Jacks for the Super Bowl party as well as just a night out with co-workers or friends … either way, Jack Astor’s is always a great place for a meal with a fun, safe and festive atmosphere.

The food tasted good. But they were super slow in serving the drinks. And they wouldn't serve us drinks after sometime stating we didn't order enough food. I understand if people are absolutely inebriated... You should stop serving them. But that wasn't the case and didn't seem fair. It was a Thursday night so i wouldn't say it was as busy as the weekends.....
