Building is not safe/secure". Thieves that do not live here have been entering and stealing packages since we moved here in 2015

I live here as an international student. The staff in rental office is so friendly and warm that makes me feel at home. I will strongly recommend it to my friends who will come to Edmonton.

Great place to live as a student at UofA. I lived here for 2 years during my graduate program - staff is friendly and professional, building is clean, community is nice and had no issues with maintenance or deposit returns. It is an older building so the central heating and water was annoying, but for the price and community, it was worth it. Would recommend :)

The only good thing I have to say about this building is the location. Between the water shutdowns, laundry room issues, freezing units in the winter, pests (mice, silverfish, pharaoh ants.. all of which management wouldn’t do much to help with) living here was a nightmare.The mouse incident was my favourite. Made a report about it and it took two weeks for anyone to come treat the problem after multiple lies being told to cover up their lack of organization. Lies included: “pest control tried to come but no one was home”, I was home all day, school was online and I had a midterm so I would know if someone knocked plus I never received a notice for entry.Had a water leak that took two months to fix. The initial repair was scheduled during a midterm I had (again, at home). I asked to reschedule and was essentially told too bad for me. The panel covering the pipes was soaked through, so that mess was left in my bathroom sink and it took another month and a half after four separate maintenance requests for the panel to finally be replaced. And remember, they found asbestos in the walls so I had direct exposure to that and who knows what else this entire period.Then there was the time a maintenance guy essentially broke in while I was home. 9pm on a Thursday, one knock, no announcement of who it was and immediately started to unlock the door. The entry was for a water leak below me, but he wouldn’t tell me where in the unit below - as we have had previous issues - he never checked under the kitchen sink, bathroom, nothing significant. The whole situation was weird, and nothing was ever done about it. I am a girl who was living by herself so you can only imagine the toll this took, I bought a security camera the minute he finally left.Neither my move in or move out process was simple, no one in management would give me the same answers to questions I had. So really it’s between management and maintenance that made it so I had four separate opportunities where I could have terminated my lease. Could not have gotten out of there faster.- the image attached was my bedroom wall from October 5, 2021 until November 24, 2021

Meredith in the office has always been very helpful with any issues that we've had. Very friendly and approachable. A pleasure to deal with her. Also Kurt, the contractor is always very friendly and great to deal with! You need more people like them in the building!

It's a pretty good, fairly well-managed apartment building, with at least 2 out of 3 elevators running most days, and a decent lobby area, and maintenance on this 50+ year old building is mostly kept up with. I don't live here, but I've visited often enough to have a clear and informed impression of the place.

I will be renewing my lease for a third time. I have no complaints about this place. It is quiet and a safe place to live. It is really easy to access the University for me.

My friends and I have been staying in this apartment since September 2021. Meredith who works at the rental office is so welcoming and super kind to talk to and super friendly. We would definitely love to stay here for another year as we felt at home. Highly recommended!!!

Lived here to attend U of A. Freezing during the winter. Had to wear gloves indoors because that's how cold it was. Also they offer deals to new residents every year, but never extend it to current residents. Basically have to threaten to leave every year for them to give you a good rate.

I was going to visit my granddaughter today at around noon only to find over 20 people waiting for an elevator and all three elevators in service for people who were moving and none available for others. I went to the office and knocked as I could hear somebody inside. No answer. I went back to the elevators and they were still all in service. I went back to the office and after knocking several times I opened the door and the tall young man with the beard blocked me from going in. I told him the situation and he was very rude to me. He said he would call someone but didn't seem to be in a hurry. Very mocking. I know for a fact that in case of an emergency they cannot block all three elevators. This is the worst experience in this building apartment not having running water days on end without water!
