Lovely heritage building in what is essentially a hidden locations.This theatre is quite intimate and I’d highly recommend attending one of the many plays that are performed here.

Heritage theatre space, Uber drivers almost never visit this area, so they always have trouble finding it. Two theatres inside, quirky details, flexible, staff knowledgeable, great for gatherings, a gem in the Calgary theatre & performing arts spaces crown.

The grounds surrounding the theatre are filled with lovely pieces of art...go check them out. Pretty beautiful views of downtown available as week. Great access to the pathway.

Comfortable new seats amazing change, cosy. Actors crazy talented. Very family friendly panto. Unique historical theatre oozes charm and presence. Great job to Directors.

It's small. But it's intimate. Great performance, performance was well done. Seats are a bit uncomfortable, the concession" is a bit weak. They do a 50/50 for cheap. They are very friendly. They do allow you to bring in your own food/drink"

The Pumphouse Theatre
This beloved theatre has seen over a million patrons pass through its doors since it opened as an iconic cultural venue in 1972. It exists thanks to the visionary Joyce Doolittle after whom one of the theatre spaces is named. The many groups that use this theatre continue to bring joy to the lives of Calgarians and visitors alike.

This was a fun little place. Really reasonable ticket prices and a fair priced concession. The seats are comfortable and every one is a good view, but there are no cup holders. I plan on going again.

New seats are much more comfortable (main section, balcony has not been upgraded.) Excellent acoustics and lighting, and you aren't too far from the stage. My only complaint is that the tickets were sold as row 5 and the actual seat was labeled row D, (not only is it letters vs numbers, it's off by one. Row D was row 5 not row 4.)
