Called to have my lawn sprayed for weeds. Was told by a very polite young lady that they do not deal with customers over the phone and that I would have to email for a quote. I found this a little strange that a worker in the feild would be answering the phone but I proceeded to email for a quote. A few days later I received my quote to which was a fair price. Although, before I had a chance to confirm that I was ok with said price and before I had a chance to shop around for a possible better price, the techs had already showed up to my yard WITHOUT ANY NOTICE and sprayed my lawn. I mean this isn’t the worst thing that could of happened, I mean they were quick to act but I called to speak to someone about maybe getting a little notice for the next treatment since I have a dog and kids that play regularly in the yard. Whom I do not want in contact with such chemicals without some notice and having time for them to become less harmful. I then received a call back from the owner Bill who immediately sounded very annoyed and impatient with having to call me about this. I then described what I thought was a valid inconvenience to just have a crew show up to my property without notice to spray chemicals and that maybe I would have like the opportunity to shop around for another quote before being forced to accept his quote/service. He was very rude, impatient and to the point and basically couldn’t care less about my concerns or if I was interested in continuing with this service. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Was hoping to support local business. Advised over the phone to send an email with the requested services. Then sent a detailed email including photos. Email was sent June 15th. 2 weeks later no response! While I understand these companies are busy, it's just common courtesy to respond even if they can't or don't want to take the work.

They are amazing. We purchased this house in Dec 2020 and realized in the spring/summer that the grass" was in fact mostly weeds. They were responsive to my email for a quote

Firstly, the product is great! Weeds were gone after just one application and my lawn looked good all year. BUT, as others have mentioned here, the techs show up with ZERO notice. This does not give you a chance to prep your yard or pick up dog/kid toys in the yard which may get sprayed. My dog got very ill after playing with a toy that got sprayed (even days later after I washed it off). Make sure to monitor your animals closely if you get anything applied to your lawn for at least a week, if not more (especially if they eat grass occasionally). The site says the product is non-lethal but it will still make them very ill.

These guys are great. Saves my lawn fromLooking like a meadow every year. Dandelion free is my preference. Thanks for taking care of my yard. Now, all I need is a ton of rain and fertilizer.

I hired Mackillop lawn care to help with grass care and added ant control to my back yard. The first time they came they sprayed the front for ants and not the back because I was given no notice and dogs were outside they didn’t call or anything and I had just ran out for ten minutes and missed them. So I called back they rescheduled and showed to spray front and back for ants again and within the week we had worse ant issue and the ants moved into the basement in hundreds maybe even thousand. I called to talk about options and they said some get results some don’t and it looks like I fell into not working and nothing they can do. So now I need to hire pest control again and expand it to my basement plus while waiting for pest control had to spend money on something to contain ants in the house. So more money spent for a issue I was told would be solved.The grass care they are good and know what they are doing. But pest control beware.
