Really good if only I had a case worker that was serious. Staff tolerated a drama creating bully. I know of three other girls who left because of her lies. It's okay because I went to another rehab that actually teaches cBT and that gives you an understanding of addiction. Too much artificial drama. Also does a lot for people who need to learn how to handle confrontation but doesn't do much for those who need empathy. Narcissistic dogma that avoids personal responsibility. Don't get mad at me for being rude. Your feelings belong to you. I put up with transphobia and 2 weeks of daily put downs from one person who never once came and talked to me in person. This is not therapy. It's abuse.

I filed a complaint about abuse from staff so the board investigated, by asking other staff! and found that no wrong doing had taken place. That same staff would then lean over my shoulder to whisper mocking abuse or burst into the room where I was sitting to yell at me until I was driven into the streets when winter wasn't even over. I'm supposed to learn this is how I'm spoken to in my house"? This is what learning to trust again feels like?The numbers are clear: 9 out of 10 of the people who learned to trust Portage were fools for doing so. Imagine how big their yearly self congratulation events would be if all the caskets could come too. They'd need to book 10 auditoriums instead of one.These people don't belong around vulnerable trying to save their lives. Whatever Portage used to be is not what Portage is now."
